What you'll do
- Create presentations, documents, infographics and internal articles to support communications work
- Adapt messages for employees, leaders and communities of practice, and keep SharePoint content organized and current
- Help advance Kaizen work, training programs and special projects focused on continuous improvement
- Plan recognition events and support workshops, meetings, forums and other employee activities
- Prepare meeting and training materials, and help create social posts such as LinkedIn content
What you bring
- You are currently studying toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations or a related area
- You write clearly and can adjust messages for different audiences
- You can use Microsoft 365, including PowerPoint, Word, Teams and SharePoint
Who this fits
This internship suits a student who can organize information, handle competing priorities and work independently. It is an eight-month hybrid role based at the Administrative Centre in Dorval. Interns may sometimes need to travel outside Canada for training or work.

What are your contributions to the team?
Contribute to the development of communication materials, including presentations, documents, infographics, and internal articles.
Support the formatting and refinement of messages tailored to various audiences, including employees, leaders, and communities of practice.
Assist in updating, organizing, and optimizing content on SharePoint.
Participate in promoting continuous improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen activities, training programs, and special projects.
Contribute to the planning and execution of recognition events that highlight team accomplishments and successes.
Support the preparation and coordination of internal events, including workshops, meetings, forums, and employee engagement activities.
Participate in the creation of content for social media platforms, including LinkedIn posts.
Assist the team in preparing materials and supporting documentation for meetings, training sessions, and internal events.
How to thrive in this role?
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
Strong ability to organize and structure information, manage multiple priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
