Short Description
We’re looking for a motivated, organized, and curious Communications Advisor to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is eager to learn, take on new challenges, develop their communication skills, and make an impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
In this role, you’ll help bring communications to life from planning and coordinating activities to supporting their execution across the organization. You’ll play a key role in keeping communication workflows moving, while becoming a go-to resource for email distribution and communications templates. You’ll also work closely with the Communications team, supporting a range of projects, presentations, and initiatives.
What are your contributions to the team?
- Take ownership of the weekly newsletter and support the day-to-day management of our intranet, from uploading and organizing content to writing stories that showcase the craftsmanship, expertise and passion of our people and organization.
- Maintain and coordinate the corporate communications calendar, helping prioritize upcoming communications, key dates, approvals and deadlines across the organization to keep deliverables moving and on track.
- Support the end-to-end coordination of corporate emails, including gathering content, formatting, proofreading, coordinating approvals, scheduling and distribution.
- Maintain and improve communications templates, tools and best practices to help teams create clear, consistent and engaging content across channels.
- Coordinate translation requests and ensure communications materials are delivered accurately and on time in French, English, Spanish and German.
- Help prepare and format presentations, briefing materials, talking points and other communications materials.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of internal and external events, including invitations, communications, logistics, materials and follow-up.
- Provide day-to-day coordination and support across a range of communications projects and initiatives, working with partners across the organization.
- Maintain organized libraries of photos, videos, presentations, templates and other communications materials.
- Help track communication activities, engagement and key metrics, and organize results to support reporting and continuous improvement.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have 0-2 years of experience.
- You hold a bachelor's degree or college diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- You have experience working with newsletters, intranet platforms, email communication tools, or content management systems (an asset).
- You have experience preparing presentations and communication materials (an asset).
- You are passionate about storytelling and possess strong writing skills, with the ability to turn ideas into clear and impactful messages.
- You work well as part of a team.
- You are proactive, solution-oriented, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
