Regional Business Development - Placement Year (July 2027)

Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood

You will be the point of reference for the Regional Development Manager who is responsible for:

  • All dealer strategic development topics in establishing long-term plans to optimise the entire dealer network in our region, whilst ensuring a healthy and profitable network willing to invest in our brand.
  • You will be working within the Regional team responsible for the UK, Europe and Central Asia, this role supports the Region’s Business Development, Ownership Services, Client and Brand functions.
  • Managing 35 Dealer and Service partners in over 23 countries, providing a superb opportunity to work within an area dealing with differing diverse cultures and currency considerations, on a daily basis.

What awaits you:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated intern to support all current and future commercial and commerce activities in the Region’s markets.
  • Manage the annual Dealer Business plans, liaising between RRMC and all Regional RRMC Partners.
  • Communicate with dealers regarding contracts, training, audits and performance results.
  • Investigating and assessing the viability of commercial markets and opportunities for a new dealer presence, conducting full analysis and evaluation of market studies and wealth reports to be presented to the Directors or Board.
  • Co-ordinating dealer and commercial development activities including supply of dealer contracts to a newly approved candidate, supporting the new dealer through the set-up process to a fully operational status.
  • Represent the Brand with Dealer visits and support Regional events including Goodwood Revival and Festival of Speed.
  • Work alongside the Regional Sales and Marketing Managers to monitor and develop the successful and timely creation of programs, to ensure the highest level of customer centricity.
  • The team works closely with other RRMC departments to maintain the Brand defining retail standards that safeguards the overall customer centric experience within the dealer network.
  • Additional support to the Region for administrative tasks such as meeting arrangements, catering and event management.
  • Training opportunities will be made available to learn about our vehicles and experience the thrill of our products first-hand.
  • There will be the possibility to take ownership of your role, being able to work independently, and to implement innovative changes and improvements when you believe it appropriate.
  • You will be encouraged to develop and propose your own project ideas and implement the changes to influence the future operations of RRMC

What should you bring along?

  • Studying towards a 2:1 or above in a Business, Economics, Management or related degree.
  • A real desire to implement your own ideas and develop the future operations of the RRMC business - leaving a legacy of your time
  • Very good level of English, fluent preferred. Ideally with an additional European language skill.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal are vital to the success of the role.
  • A strong operational understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a team and have a positive attitude.
  • Highly analytical person with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong international and cross-cultural awareness.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry and luxury segment would be desirable.
