About the Role:

This application is for a 6-month student role from January - June 2027. Resume review begins in October 2026.

Biogen is seeking a video production and digital content co-op for our Corporate Affairs department. The candidate will be responsible for assisting our video team with various projects that will include brand campaigns, organizing video assets in Biogen’s asset library, and assisting with external/internal video projects and requests. We’re looking for someone with a great creative eye and an enthusiasm for visual storytelling who can thrive in an energetic corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Brand and Storytelling team to shoot, edit and produce videos and photography for a variety of uses, channels and needs
  • Manage digital assets
  • Work with digital team to manage corporate intranet content and external web pages
  • Assist in creation of social media content and graphics
  • Assist in management of video studio
  • Brainstorm creative ideas for compelling Biogen video content
  • Create authentic and compelling communications materials as needed, including writing stories, drafting social media content, newsletters, external communication materials, handouts, web pages and brand materials.

To participate in the Biogen Co-op Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date.
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university or skills program/apprenticeship.

Qualifications

  • Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects preferred)
  • Canva
  • Strong written and verbal communication is essential
  • Experience with video cameras and lighting equipment
  • Ability to recognize story potential and independently develop video assets
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds

Education

  • Current undergraduate student who has completed at least two years of program majoring in Marketing, Communications, Film, or related field.

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $23.00-$27.00


The actual hourly wage offered will consider the candidate’s current academic level and degree candidacy, inclusive of Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, JD, MD, PhD and MBA programs. It will comply with state or local minimum wage requirements specific to the job location.
