Job Description:

This is a hybrid position on our Boston campus 3 days a week, as well as 2 remote working days. 

We are seeking a Boston-based, highly organized, proactive, and data-driven Senior Marketing Manager to oversee comprehensive marketing initiatives across a diverse ecosystem, including Berklee College of Music and the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Reporting directly to the AVP of Marketing, you will serve as a critical bridge between institutional strategy and cross-functional creative execution. This role requires an agile, collaborative marketer who can navigate a multi-layered academic and artistic environment to drive student enrollment, promote marquee campus events, and champion global brand standards. At Berklee, your work directly supports the next generation of creative leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Facilitation & Optimization:

  • Multi-Channel Campaigns: Orchestrate and execute targeted marketing initiatives across digital channels to meet precise lead-generation, social engagement, and brand visibility targets.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and optimize campaign performance. Be an expert at using data to discuss target audience behavior across web, social, email, partner networks, and paid ad placements.
  • Agile Adjustments: Adaptively adjust campaign spends, target parameters, and creative elements to maximize return on investment both within active campaigns and during annual planning.

Project Operations & Stakeholder Relations:

  • Asana Power-User: Build detailed project roadmaps, manage milestones, and align creative production assets to ensure multi-departmental workflows remain strictly on schedule.
  • Cross-Functional Liaising: Act as a primary marketing liaison to internal departments, including Academic Affairs, the Career Center, and Advancement, translating their goals into on-brand campaigns.
  • Strategic Analytics: Leverage GA4, Salesforce, and our broader martech stack to synthesize actionable insights for senior leadership within semesterly and annual reporting.

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional marketing management experience, ideally situated within higher education, a major arts organization, or a high-growth creative agency.
  • Digital Expertise: Demonstrable experience using GA4 to track and refine multi-channel digital strategies (paid social, email, paid search) alongside a c
  • Operational Command: Advanced proficiency in enterprise project management software (Asana preferred) and a proven ability to manage high-volume creative assets simultaneously against firm deadlines.
  • Diplomacy & Leadership: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate a nuanced matrix environment, build institutional consensus, and proactively solve potential operational gaps before they impact delivery.
  • Preferred Attributes: Practical familiarity incorporating AI tools to scale content management, reporting, or workflows to enhance team output, combined with strong general budget tracking and financial literacy.
