What you'll do

Shape and manage the software roadmap for Computer-on-Modules across Linux, Windows, Android and related platforms
Turn customer needs, regulations and standards into software requirements, then support development with global R&D centers and partners
Create software-focused product demonstrations and customer presentations, while supporting trade shows, online sessions and blog content
Help sales and field application engineers develop business, including customer pricing, partner work and tailored software proposals
Build the software business plan through forecasts, return-on-investment calculations, market research and competitive analysis

What you bring

A completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable discipline
At least three years in a similar product marketing or related position
Hands-on Embedded Linux experience with Yocto is required
Working knowledge of embedded systems, software stacks, cybersecurity, modern software technologies and artificial intelligence
Very strong English at C1 level, plus the ability to explain complex technical subjects clearly

You will suit a technically minded product marketer who can move between software engineering, marketing, sales and business planning. The role involves international, cross-functional stakeholder work and requires ten percent travel. It is based with the team in Ismaning near Munich, Stutensee near Karlsruhe or Aachen, with flexible hours and mobile working offered.

Als Produkt Marketing Manager (m/w/d) Embedded Software arbeiten Sie an der Schnittstelle zwischen Technik, Marketing und Business und unterstützen die Definition und Vermarktung unserer Softwarelösungen für Computer-on-Modules und kundenspezifischen Entwicklungen.

Führende Rolle in Trias Software-Roadmap für Computer-on-Modules (COM) für Linux, Windows, Android, …
Software Roadmap Definition und Management im Rahmen eines Product-Increment-Prozesses
Definition von Softwareanforderungen basierend auf Kundenanforderungen, Regulierungen & Normen
Begleitung der Softwareentwicklung in Trias R&D Zentren und Entwicklungspartnern weltweit

Marketing

Konzeptionierung von Produktdemonstrationen
Erstellung von Kundenpräsentationen mit Fokus Software
Schnittstelle zu Schlüsselkunden und Business Partnern
Unterstützung von Marketing-Aktivitäten: Messen, Onlinepräsentationen, Blogposts
Unterstützung von Vertrieb und FAEs im Business Development Prozess

Ihr Profil:

Abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik, Informatik oder vergleichbar
Minimum 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in einer vergleichbaren Position
Praktische Erfahrung mit Embedded Linux (Yocto) sind Voraussetzung
Grundlegendes Verständnis für Embedded-Systeme und Software-Stacks
Grundlegendes Verständnis für Cyber Security und modernen Softwaretechnologien und Künstlicher Intelligenz
Erfahrungen mit BIOS, Boot-Loader, Realtime OS sind ein Plus
Erfahrungen mit WLAN, Bluetooth und Thread sind ein Plus
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (C1)

Leidenschaft für Innovationen, Embedded Computer und Softwareentwicklung
Ausgeprägtes technisches Verständnis und Freude daran, sich schnell in komplexe Softwarethemen einzuarbeiten
