About the Role

We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our team on a 12-month contract and own our content engine from strategy through execution. You'll run a high-volume webinar program, shape how our brand shows up in search and AI-generated answers, and tell our story across email, blog, gated assets, partnerships, press, and speaking engagements.

This is a hands-on role for a strong writer and strategist who is energized by variety, comfortable with volume, and excited to use AI to work smarter without losing the human voice that makes content worth reading/listening to.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Webinars and Speaking Engagements

  • Plan, produce, and promote 15 or more webinars over the 12-month contract, covering topic selection, speaker recruitment, run-of-show, hosting, and follow-up

  • Repurpose each webinar into blog posts, clips, email sequences, and gated assets

  • Track registration, attendance, engagement, and pipeline influence, and use the results to improve future events

  • Identify, pitch, and secure speaking opportunities at conferences, podcasts, and industry events for company leaders and subject matter experts

  • Prepare talk tracks, and supporting materials for speaking engagements

2. Content and Campaign Creation

  • Own the editorial calendar and publish high-quality blog content, managing freelance or internal contributors as needed

  • Develop and run email programs (newsletters, nurture sequences, event promotion), with A/B testing to improve performance

  • Produce long-form assets such as whitepapers, reports, checklists, and original research, planned around funnel stage, persona, and campaign goals

  • Write copy for all marketing campaigns, including landing pages, paid ads, email, videos, and launches

  • Partner with product marketing, demand gen, design, and sales to keep messaging consistent and conversion-focused

3. SEO, AEO, and AI (Search Visibility and Smarter Workflows)

  • Lead keyword research and content strategy aligned with search intent and the buyer journey

  • Optimize content to rank in traditional search and to be cited by AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews

  • Use generative AI to accelerate research, drafting, repurposing, and analysis, with human review, fact-checking, and originality standards applied to all output

  • Build and document AI-assisted workflows and prompts, along with processes, editorial calendars, and a final results report, so the team can keep momentum after the contract ends

4. Partnerships and PR (Earned and Shared Reach)

  • Build and manage co-marketing programs with technology partners, integrations, and industry organizations, including joint webinars, co-authored content, and cross-promotion

  • Serve as the content point of contact for partner teams

  • Craft press releases, pitches, bylines, and thought-leadership pieces

What we want from you:

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, ideally in B2B

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio that shows range

  • Proven experience running webinars or virtual events at scale

  • Working knowledge of SEO and a growing understanding of AEO and generative search

  • Experience with email marketing platforms (bonus points for HubSpot) and analytics tools

  • Demonstrated hands-on use of AI tools in your content workflow, with good judgment about where they help and where they don't

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines

  • Comfort collaborating with external partners, media, and speakers

  • Data-minded approach: you set goals, measure results, and iterate

What you will get from us:

  • A competitive and progressive salary;

  • A group RRSP employer contribution up to 5%;

  • Companywide and team bonding activities to connect with your peers throughout the year and social activities to connect with your peers;
