A. ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Turn briefs and ideas into strong design and video work across brand, campaigns, customer touchpoints and selected social content.
  • Build AirBorneo’s in-house creative capability so the team can move faster, stay consistent and reduce unnecessary routine outsourcing.
  • Bring AirBorneo’s brand to life through fresh, contemporary creative inspired by Borneo’s people, places and stories.

B. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create brand, campaign, digital, print, corporate, route-launch, event and other creative assets from approved briefs.
  • Edit video for campaigns, internal content, digital platforms and selected social applications where required, including basic motion graphics and content adaptations.
  • Apply strong typography, layout and visual judgement to maintain brand consistency and produce accurate, production-ready artwork.
  • Contribute ideas and creative recommendations and turn creative direction into effective finished work across different formats.
  • Maintain organized working files, masters, templates and approved assets, while improving repetitive production tasks where practical.
  • Support photography and video shoots where required.
  • Use AI-enabled creative tools appropriately to support ideation, design, editing and production, while checking quality, accuracy and usage rights.

C. ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Accountable for the quality, accuracy, timeliness and brand consistency of assigned creative outputs.
  • Accountable for disciplined file, version and asset-rights management and for ensuring final deliverables are technically ready for their intended channel or production method.
  • Accountable for raising brief, timing, factual, rights or quality risks early; creative direction, priorities and final quality approval remain with the Manager.

D. AUTHORITY

  • May make day-to-day design and editing decisions within the approved brief, brand direction and agreed production parameters.
  • May propose concepts, treatments, formats and production or efficiency improvements for consideration and approval where required.
  • May not independently change campaign objectives, brand standards, final messaging, expenditure, supplier commitments or public communications unless specifically delegated.
  • Must escalate unclear or conflicting briefs, rights concerns, factual issues, major scope changes and resource or deadline conflicts.

E. DELEGATION OF DUTIES

  • During absence, urgent routine adaptations may be reassigned by the Manager to another team member or approved external resource.
  • Production or adaptation tasks may be handed off with alignment from the Manager or Creative Services Executive, with correct files, specifications and status clearly transferred.
  • Delegated work must remain within the approved brief and brand standards, with clear version control and no unapproved changes to scope.
  • Final creative approval, brand exceptions, budget authority and external communications remain with the Manager or other authorised approver.

F. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma, degree or equivalent practical experience in graphic design, branding, creative, multimedia or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating good visual judgement, layout, typography and brand application.
  • Confident video editing skills, supported by relevant work samples.
  • Strong interest in AI-enabled creative tools, including image, video and content editing, with curiosity to explore new workflows and improve creative output.
  • Comfortable using common creative software and adapting to new tools.
  • Photography, filming, motion graphics or content creation experience is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio, good creative instincts and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
