By planning, organizing, and overseeing all commercial activities, the Sales Director ensures the achievement of business objectives while maintaining a strong understanding of market developments, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. Success in this role requires strategic leadership, a results-oriented mindset, agility, and innovation to position the brand at the highest level of competitiveness within its market.​

Your Impact

  • Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role, with a strong track record of driving sales growth, profitability, and market share

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commercial strategies, sales plans, and business development initiatives in a competitive market environment

  • Experience managing and developing dealer, distributor, or partner networks, including network optimization and transformation projects

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams while driving accountability through KPIs and performance management

  • Solid financial and business acumen, including sales forecasting, budgeting, resource allocation, and profitability management

  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with experience handling key accounts, strategic partnerships, and major tenders

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales leadership, with strong knowledge of the market, competitors, products, and modern sales strategies, including digital channels and social media

  • Strong negotiation and business development skills, with a solid understanding of the full sales cycle, market analysis, product positioning, and commercial excellence

  • Extensive experience in leading, developing and coaching sales teams, supported by effective use of CRM systems, KPIs, dashboards, and performance management tools

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders at all levels

  • Strategic mindset combined with high resilience, initiative, assertiveness, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment

  • Fluent English skills and at least 10 years of relevant professional experience, including significant leadership experience in a comparable sales role

Your Workplace

This role follows AGCO’s on‑site work model, with employees primarily working from our AGCO location in Beauvais a minimum of 4 days per week to support collaboration and teamwork.

The role requires 40–50% travel across France, as well as occasional travel to Finland.
