Senior Airline Marketing Analyst
Company: Airbus Americas, Inc.
Worksite location: Herndon, Viriginia
Salary offered: $126,000.00/year
Duties: Work closely with Marketing Director on assigned accounts to deliver convincing marketing analysis, argumentation, and presentations influencing a customer’s aircraft evaluation and purchasing decision. Utilize experience with all aspects of airline requirements, airline business drivers, evolving fleet and network requirements, revenue and profit generation models. Provide aircraft performance and economic analysis on Airbus and competitor aircraft for assigned accounts. Develop appropriate documents that demonstrate Airbus’s superiority in realizing customer’s needs. Interact with other areas in Marketing/Airbus to enhance marketing analysis and argumentation. Present to and interact with customer along with senior team members. Provide internal feedback and support the improvements of the marketing methods & tools.
Requirements: Master's Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering, Finance, Aviation Science, or related field with 2 years’ experience as Marketing Analyst or similar. Experience must include analytical marketing in the airline industry; structure and management of airlines and the specificities of their operations; delivering presentations to senior airline management and developing Commercial Aircraft Argumentation (limited to single-aisle and wide-body aircraft; excluding military and regional jets) - including manipulating available and diverse market data sets to evaluate aircraft performance, economics, and fleet/network solutions.
Up to 60% domestic and international travel required for business meetings with customers, suppliers, and internal Airbus meetings with support functions. Up to 40% telework permitted.
