Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Football players play a fundamental role in the brand´s strategy. As a brand it is our objective to secure the best player portfolio possible that can represent and communicate our products to the consumer. As a Sr. Scouting Specialist Football Players, your responsibility is to identify the countries´ talents at the earliest age possible and to include them into the brands football portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identification, planning and flawless execution of the scouting attack plan according to defined SPOMA Football Players Scouting KPI´s
- To become a key contact in the world of Young players by providing excellence of servicing and product supply.
- Negotiation, contracting and execution of player contracts, according to and fully compliant with internal sports marketing and legal/financial guidelines.
- Day to day management of all scouting relations of our portfolio. Execute contract rights properly to strengthen our connections and build more reliable relations - Securing high level and fast assets service
- Develop powerful relationships with agents, and all other important stakeholders in the world of scouting / football, to increase the probability to recognize, scout and sign the best talents of the country of each age category.
- Create an open relationship between the three football pillars within the company – SPOMA, Football BU and Brand Communications.
- To attend national and international Youth events and use them as a platform for scouting (Identify, contact, network and sign).
- Excellence in the execution of budgeting, financial, legal and compliance, and any other type of internal responsibility. Proactive and open communication with spoma scouting and player management counterparts in other countries, regional and global offices. Apply a one team philosophy.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- In depth technical knowledge/experience and network in the world of professional football is a must
- Football background as a player on high level and/or coaching (1-2 years experience). Good network and reputation in the world of football is key.
- Fluent English.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
The individual must be highly motivated and focused on task in hand. He must be extremely well organised with an empathy towards the sport in which he is dealing with.
- University degree or equivalent education required
- Great interpersonal skills, communication-verbal and written skills.
- Proficiency with computers and standard software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Football Market and Industry Awareness, football sport knowledge
- Needs to have both football knowledge and business mindset.
- Good negotiation skills, legal background a plus.
- Ability and commitment to retain absolute confidentiality concerning all business matters.
- Driven to succeed and deliver against goals and work expectations.
- Understanding of the issues facing players (e.g. financial, media, moving, languages, etc.) and the ability to help adidas develop programs to assist players with these issues…
