From the employer

As MEA & Africa Sales Manager, the core mission is to win new business, grow the territory and deliver against ambitious sales targets.

The role owns the full sales cycle—from the first client engagement through negotiation and contract signature—while developing trusted, long-term relationships with clients, senior executives and key opinion leaders across the banking and financial services sector.

Success in this position requires strong commercial instincts, a sharp understanding of the market and the ability to identify, shape and convert complex opportunities into signed business. The role also contributes to market analysis, strategic account development and strengthening our position across the assigned territory.

  • Own and deliver New Logo sales targets established by the Regional Sales Director, building and executing a focused territory sales plan aligned with our strategy

  • Lead the complete new-logo sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through solution positioning, negotiation and deal closure, coordinating pre-sales and specialist resources as required

  • Partner closely with the lead pre-sales resource to understand each prospect’s business priorities and requirements, shape the right solution and deliver compelling proposals that clearly demonstrate the value and strengths of Temenos and additiv

  • Lead or support commercial negotiations, depending on deal size, covering the terms and conditions of sales and service agreements

  • Build strong executive-level relationships throughout the sales process and beyond, creating trusted partnerships that support long-term client engagement and future business opportunities

  • Contribute to market research and develop detailed prospective-client profiles covering current systems, future software investment potential, strategic priorities and key decision-makers

  • 10+ years of proven new-business sales success within banking and financial services, with a strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and substantial experience in the sector

  • Confidence operating at every level of an organization, with the credibility, commercial presence and negotiation skills required to engage senior executives and key decision-makers

  • Strong understanding of banking operations and processes across the front, middle and back office, combined with a thorough understanding of IT and software solutions

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, supported by international exposure and the flexibility to operate effectively across the territory

  • Fluent English is required. Additional European languages are considered an advantage

  • Previous sales experience and a strong network across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and key developing markets across Africa are considered a strong advantage
