Job Purpose

The Revenue Analyst supports the Corporate Revenue Management team in maximising revenue and profitability across the assigned Rixos Hotels portfolio. Based in Dubai, the role provides accurate reporting, forecasting support, market analysis and actionable recommendations to guide pricing, inventory and distribution decisions.

Working closely with hotel Revenue Management, Reservations, Sales, Marketing and Finance teams, the Revenue Analyst helps identify commercial opportunities and supports the consistent application of revenue management practices across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Analysis and Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly revenue reports and dashboards for the corporate team and assigned hotels.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR), booking pace, pickup, cancellations and market share.
  • Analyse performance against budget, forecast and previous year, highlighting variances, risks and opportunities.
  • Evaluate results by hotel, market segment, source market, distribution channel and room category.
  • Translate data into clear insights and practical recommendations for corporate and hotel management.

Forecasting and Budget Support

  • Support the preparation and consolidation of hotel revenue forecasts, annual budgets and business plans.
  • Review booking trends, demand patterns, seasonality, booking windows and length of stay to support forecast accuracy.
  • Monitor actual performance against forecasts and highlight changes requiring further review.
  • Maintain historical data and analytical models to support commercial planning.

Pricing and Inventory Support

  • Analyse demand and competitor pricing to support recommendations on room rates, restrictions and inventory allocation.
  • Monitor room category performance and identify opportunities to optimise room mix, upselling and length of stay.
  • Support the evaluation of group enquiries, contracted business and promotional offers through displacement and profitability analysis.
  • Review the impact of implemented pricing decisions and promotions, sharing findings with the Revenue Management team.
  • Assist with approved rate and inventory updates, in coordination with hotel teams and within delegated authority.

Market and Distribution Analysis

  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, destination events and changes in demand across assigned markets.
  • Review market benchmarking reports to assess hotel positioning and identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • Analyse channel mix, commissions and acquisition costs to support profitable distribution decisions.
  • Support rate parity reviews and follow up on discrepancies with the relevant teams.
  • Assess the contribution of direct bookings, online travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers and other business sources.

All-Inclusive Commercial Analysis

  • Support analysis of all-inclusive packages, considering occupancy mix, package inclusions, length of stay and source-market patterns.
  • Work with Finance and hotel teams to assess the revenue and contribution of different packages and business segments.
  • Support evaluation of ancillary revenue opportunities, where applicable, to improve total guest value and hotel profitability.

Corporate Coordination and Data Quality

  • Consolidate hotel submissions and support consistent reporting definitions and standards across the portfolio.
  • Prepare analysis and presentations for revenue reviews and commercial meetings.
  • Follow up on agreed actions with hotel teams and track progress.
  • Validate information from property management, reservations, revenue management and business intelligence systems.
  • Identify data discrepancies and coordinate corrections with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support reporting automation and improvements to analytical processes.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of commercial information and comply with company policies.
