We are hiring for a Director of Marketing & Communications, a visionary leader responsible for shaping and elevating the brand presence of FAENA The Red Sea, positioning it among the world’s most extraordinary luxury lifestyle destinations. This role drives the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies, ensuring every campaign, activation, and guest touchpoint reflects Faena’s distinctive voice, creative storytelling, and Forbes Five-Star standards.

Working in close partnership with Sales, Public Relations, Digital, Food & Beverage, and creative teams, the Director curates impactful, culturally-driven campaigns that engage global audiences and generate demand across all facets of the property. This role is instrumental in translating the spirit of Faena into compelling narratives and experiences that captivate, inspire, and differentiate within the global luxury hospitality landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the property’s integrated marketing and communications strategy across rooms, F&B, spa, nightlife, and events
  • Develop and manage brand campaigns across digital, print, and social platforms in alignment with global Faena strategy
  • Act as the brand guardian, ensuring consistency and excellence across all internal and external communications
  • Oversee advertising, digital media planning, email marketing, and content calendars
  • Collaborate with creative teams on campaign concepts, photo shoots, and branded content development
  • Manage and optimize website content, landing pages, and third-party platform presence
  • Drive social media and content strategy to maintain a strong and engaging digital footprint
  • Partner with Public Relations to align storytelling, media outreach, and event promotion
  • Build and nurture relationships with luxury brands, influencers, and creative collaborators
  • Establish strategic partnerships with tourism boards, travel networks, and regional stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Faena Art and Culture teams to promote programming, exhibitions, and performances
  • Support signature events and experiences that reinforce Faena’s position as a global cultural destination
  • Analyze campaign performance through KPIs, ROI, and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems)
  • Support Sales and Catering teams with marketing collateral and client engagement tools
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the Marketing & Communications team, fostering a culture of creativity and accountability
  • Manage external agencies including PR, digital, and creative partners
  • Partner closely with Commercial, Revenue, and operational leaders to ensure alignment on business objectives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with F&B, Spa, and Events teams to deliver integrated storytelling and campaigns
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience in luxury hospitality, lifestyle brands, or cultural institutions.
  • Proven success in launching or repositioning luxury hotels or resorts; pre-opening experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of brand management, integrated marketing, digital strategy, and public relations.
  • Global mindset with sensitivity to Middle Eastern culture and the Red Sea region’s evolving tourism landscape.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field required, advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven success developing and executing 360° marketing campaigns across luxury channels.
  • Strong knowledge of social media trends, digital marketing, SEO, CRM, and analytics.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, design tools (Adobe Creative Suite), and project management platforms.
  • Experience leading a team and collaborating with cross-functional departments.
