This role purpose is turn marketing into revenue on one of Abbott´s main product in ID and new-product line: own why we win and why we lose, and convert that into segmentation, targeting, positioning, pricing and campaigns. The role is responsible for market understanding, customer segmentation, value proposition development, product positioning, demand generation, launch excellence and sales enablement, while partnering with Medical Affairs, SSL and Sales team stakeholders to support sustainable growth.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own the win/loss loop on the line: every deal above threshold debriefed within 15 days, monthly synthesis at the business review, quarterly segmentation, targeting and positioning review with the Sales and Country Managers.
  • Support pricing strategy and value communication in partnership with Commercial Leadership and Finance. e: value messages by segment, price corridor, realized price and margin.
  • Contribute to health economic and market access initiatives in partnership with Medical Affairs , SSL, and Business developer
  • Business development: new segments and channels for the line, with the Distributor Manager where the distributor network is the route to market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and regional KOLs.
  • Gather voice-of-customer insights to inform marketing strategy and future developments.
  • Partner with Medical Affairs and SSL in educational and scientific initiatives.
  • Develop and execute the South Europe marketing strategy for Binax NOW and 3rd party in alignment with global and EMEA priorities.
  • Identify growth opportunities through market analysis, customer insights and competitive intelligence.
  • Develop customer segmentation, targeting and value propositions for priority customer
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns digital initiatives and educational programs for Binax NOW and and 3rd party in South
  • Manage promotional materials and customer-facing content for Binax NOW and 3rd party in South
  • Localize and execute the materials, the communication and campaign related to others products line In Iberia and Italy
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness and optimize activities based on performance metrics for all campaigns In Iberia and Italy
  • Develop and execute the events, communication and congresses In Iberia and Italy

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in marketing, business or life sciences; scientific literacy required.
  • 5 to 8 years in marketing in diagnostics or medical technology, including product marketing and market access.
  • Measured on revenue and margin; carries a target on the product line.
  • Pricing depth, KOL and medical fluency, analytics-driven segmentation.
  • English fluent plus at least one South European language.


SKILLS / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong commercial marketing expertise within diagnostics, medical devices, or healthcare environments.
  • Proven experience in segmentation, targeting, positioning, and value proposition development.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to transform market insights into commercial action.
  • Experience supporting pricing strategy, tender environments, and market access initiatives.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience engaging with KOLs and key customers.
  • Demonstrated success in campaign execution and demand generation.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across countries.
  • Willingness to travel across the South Europe region as required.
