About our Role

The Marketing Operations & Traffic Manager is responsible for coordinating the flow of work across the marketing and creative teams, ensuring projects are resourced, prioritised, and delivered effectively. The role combines day-to-day traffic management with operational support, reporting, workflow governance, and process improvement to enable efficient delivery of creative and marketing work.

Key Responsibilities

Traffic & Workflow Management (60%)

  • Own the day-to-day traffic management of creative and marketing work across the team, ensuring priorities are aligned to business needs and agreed service levels.
  • Partner with the Creative Account Manager to manage incoming work, validate brief readiness, and coordinate the flow of projects through the team.
  • Allocate work across available resources, balancing workloads, deadlines, priorities, and capability requirements.
  • Maintain visibility of team capacity and resource availability, proactively identifying scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and delivery risks.
  • Manage workflow systems and project boards, ensuring accurate project status, timelines, and task ownership.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups and workflow meetings to drive alignment, accountability, and delivery progress.
  • Monitor project timelines and milestones, ensuring actions are completed and stakeholders are kept informed.
  • Escalate delivery risks, resource constraints, and priority conflicts to support timely decision-making.

Operations & Continuous Improvement (40%)

  • Maintain operational data and workflow systems to ensure accurate reporting and business visibility.
  • Support the preparation of capacity, workflow, utilisation, and performance reporting.
  • Champion consistent workflow standards, processes, and governance across the team.
  • Administer and support operational tools and platforms used by the creative and marketing teams.
  • Maintain process documentation, templates, and team knowledge resources.
  • Support onboarding, training, and adoption of operational processes and ways of working.
  • Identify recurring workflow challenges and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide operational insights and recommendations to the Marketing & Creative Operations Lead to support planning, prioritisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in traffic management, resource management, project coordination, or creative operations.
  • Strong understanding of workflow management within a creative, marketing, agency, or in-house team environment.
  • Experience managing competing priorities and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience using project and workflow management platforms such as monday.com, Asana, Jira, Workfront, or similar.
  • Ability to interpret operational data and reporting to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency, delivery excellence, and customer experience.
