About the Role


Workday is looking for an inspirational sales leader to drive the success of our Services, Telecom and Media business for Workday’s France business. The role’s primary responsibility is to manage direct sales of the organisation’s products and services into Service, Telecom and Media industries into both net new and Workday’s existing customer base.

You demonstrate a strong ability to drive account development, pipeline generation activities and manage an equitable territory distribution model where team members each have the opportunity to achieve their sales goals. You will also be highly capable of developing and managing executive relationships by conducting business driven discussions, whilst also lead negotiation planning, strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Actively coach, support, and lead Sales Managers and Account Executives around account coverage, territory management, demand generation and opportunity execution

  • Articulate Workday’s impact on business value to C-Level executives and build relationships that drive deals to a successful conclusion

  • Shape deal strategy to create new opportunities where none previously exist

  • Effectively position Workday’s unique value proposition in a highly competitive market

  • Drive Workday Culture and cross-group collaboration as a member of the local leadership team

  • Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners


About You


Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience as a front line or second line sales manager

  • 15+ years relevant industry experience

  • Experience within the business applications or digital transformation marketplace, preferably ERP, Human Capital Management or Corporate Finance related

  • Demonstrable results in leading teams within complex, team-based sales environments

  • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment

  • Experience as a leader in a team selling environment

Other Qualifications

  • Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday solutions within accounts

  • Proven experience of pulling together different business units to maximize on sales

  • Experience maintaining accurate forecasting data and business modeling for senior leadership

  • True passion for delivering results through others

  • High level of accountability in a high growth environment

  • Well above-average written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven as a self-starter, fast-learner, and agent of change

  • Proficiency across a variety of selling methodologies, with existing track record of coaching or teaching these skills

Listed below is the base salary range applicable to this position. Workday pay ranges (and the precise pay offered to the successful candidate) are based on a number of objective criteria such as relevant experience and skills, and educational qualifications, level of responsibility, demands of the role, work location and business need. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants awarded by Workday Inc. Primary Location Base Pay Range: €152,000 EUR - €228,000 EUR France
