From the employer

Create your best future and join Westpac as a Senior Associate, Project Implementation Manager

What’s the role?

As an Implementation Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of delivering product implementations and change requests for institutional customers, helping ensure each implementation is well coordinated from start to finish.

This is a permanent, part-time opportunity based in Sydney working three days per week, with two of those days based in the office to collaborate and learn with the wider team.

You’ll work directly with customers to understand their requirements, determine configuration needs and guide them through the implementation process. You’ll partner closely with technical leads and teams across Product, Sales, Service, Relationship Management and Operations to deliver requirements, manage risks and issues, and keep projects moving forward.

With multiple implementations underway, you’ll bring structure and organisation to your work while maintaining clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders. You’ll also draw on your understanding of system integration, payables and receivables technologies, and project management approaches to help create a seamless customer experience.

What do I need?

You’ll be an organised and customer-focused project professional who can build strong relationships, solve problems and confidently manage competing priorities. You'll have:

  • Two to three years project implementation experience is essential, with transaction banking exposure advantageous.
  • Proven understanding of implementation processes and project management methodologies (JIRA, Confluence, Agile, Waterfall experience is preferred).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage risks, resolve issues, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business/ Finance, Project Management certification is desirable.
