The role is hybrid in downtown Toronto, with office attendance three times each week, and reports to the Head of Marketing. We are looking for a creative, results-focused Product Marketing Manager to help shape how millions of people discover, experience, and connect with stories on Wattpad. This role sits at the intersection of product and brand, owning how we bring our product to market and ensuring it resonates deeply with our global community. In this role, you will report to the Head of Marketing and partner closely with Product, Research, Community, and Design teams to ensure we’re building the right experiences for evolving user needs, while staying true to our brand and fandom culture. Your mission involves a deep focus on market research, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies across the core platform and new feature launches. This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable thinking strategically and rolling up their sleeves to execute.
What You'll Do:

Market and audience insights

Lead ongoing market, competitive, and audience research to inform product direction and positioning

Identify emerging trends in storytelling, fandom, and entertainment consumption, translating into clear opportunities for cross-functional teams

Positioning and packaging

Define and evolve product positioning, messaging, and value propositions across the platform, ensuring consistency between product experience and brand narrative

Shape how features are packaged and communicated to drive adoption and engagement

Go-to-market strategy

Own end-to-end GTM strategy and execution for new features, experiments, and product initiatives

Develop clear marketing plans, track success metrics, and deliver post-launch optimization strategies

Cross-functional collaboration and influence

Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers from ideation through launch

Ensure user needs, motivations, and market context are embedded in product and marketing decisions

Act as the voice of our users and the market within cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably in B2C tech, media, or entertainment

Proven ability to develop positioning and lead go-to-market strategies for digital products

Strong strategic thinking paired with excellent execution skills

Experience working closely with Product and Design teams in an agile environment

Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority

Deep curiosity about user behavior, culture, and emerging trends

Experience in qualitative and quantitative research approaches to help identify and validate product marketing opportunities
