Job Summary

The Associate Manager, Marketing will focus on either Brand Marketing or Digital Marketing initiatives, driving strategies that enhance Tyson Foods’ market presence and effectively engage target audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Marketing

  • Support the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to strengthen Tyson Foods’ portfolio of brands.
  • Consolidate team feedback and distribute meeting recaps to help ensure projects remain on track.
  • Facilitate project and business organization by compiling and maintaining key project documents on internal servers.
  • Maintain project trackers and status documents at the direction of the manager.
  • Support the development of creative briefs by aggregating key data, insights, and historical context.
  • Analyze consumer trends in partnership with the Insights team to inform marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Champion brand creative standards and guidelines, ensuring all creative work remains on-brand and aligned with strategic objectives.

Digital Marketing

  • Implement digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, and web channels, to drive customer engagement and conversion.
  • Plan, execute, and manage media buying across demand-side platforms (DSPs) and retail media networks, ensuring efficient budget allocation, audience targeting, and performance optimization.
  • Optimize digital content for search engines (SEO) to improve online visibility.
  • Contribute to the development of engaging and persuasive digital shelf content, including optimized imagery, SEO copy, enhanced content, and videos.
  • Lead the analysis of external industry trends and internal performance data to support sales efforts at multiple levels, identifying sales trends, shifts in consumer and operator purchasing behavior, competitive risks, and white-space opportunities.
  • Assist in managing product listings across e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Walmart, Sysco, and the company website, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Brand, Sales, and Commerce Marketing teams, as well as external partners such as digital agencies and platform representatives, to align digital content with business strategies and enhance product visibility.
  • Monitor customer reviews and questions across digital platforms and provide feedback to improve product content and the overall customer experience.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related business field is required.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on either brand marketing or digital marketing preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing successful marketing projects and campaigns.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Travel

  • Up to five domestic trips per year.
