From the employer
Thread AI
Thread AI is focused on building an AI-native workflow orchestration engine and is looking for dedicated individuals to join its growing team. Our goal is to make infrastructure simple for enterprises and public sector agencies seeking to get the most from AI.
Headquartered in New York, our growing team is a group of AI, product, and engineering experts, who have a track record of creating and executing against complex workflows and infrastructure.
Sales & GTM Culture
We’re a small, committed team building the future of enterprise AI infrastructure. We believe that a lean, dedicated group with a flat structure and a high-trust culture will always outpace the bureaucracy of large, hierarchical organizations.
At Thread, we hire Hacker-Builders across every department. Whether you’re writing code or closing a deal, we look for people who prioritize shipping over talking. We value a relentless curiosity for how things work under the hood and a builder mentality that treats every problem as an engineering problem to be solved: iterative, data-driven, and focused on creating genuine technical value for our customers. If you're someone who thrives in ambiguity and prefers building the future to simply maintaining the present, you’ll fit right in.
About the Role
We are looking to add another builder to our fast-growing team, bringing deep product marketing expertise. You will be the bridge between our engineering team and the market—translating what we build into why it matters for our customers. Working alongside our GTM Marketer, you will own the product narrative end-to-end: from competitive positioning and launch strategy to the sales collateral that closes deals.
This role is for someone who loves going deep on technical products and can articulate complex capabilities in ways that resonate with both technical buyers and business stakeholders. You'll be embedded with product and engineering, shaping how we bring new capabilities to market and ensuring our sales team has the tools they need to win.
Responsibilities
Own product positioning and messaging for the Lemma platform, translating technical capabilities into compelling value propositions for enterprise and public sector buyers
Lead product launches from positioning through execution, coordinating across product, engineering, sales, and marketing to drive awareness and adoption of new features and capabilities
Build and maintain competitive intelligence—track the AI infrastructure landscape, identify our differentiated strengths, and equip sales with battle cards and objection handling
Create sales enablement assets including product one-pagers, technical briefs, customer case studies, demo scripts, and ROI frameworks
Develop and refine customer evidence programs—capture and amplify customer success stories that demonstrate Thread's impact on real workflows
Partner closely with our GTM Marketer to ensure product messaging flows seamlessly into broader brand campaigns, demand generation, and ABM efforts
Collaborate with product and engineering to influence roadmap priorities based on market feedback, competitive dynamics, and customer needs
Serve as a product expert in customer-facing contexts, supporting sales on strategic opportunities and contributing to webinars, events, and thought leadership content
What We're Looking For
5+ years of product marketing experience, with a track record of bringing technical products to market
Ability to quickly internalize complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, differentiated positioning for multiple buyer personas
Experience building sales enablement programs and collateral that demonstrably impact pipeline and win rates
Strong cross-functional instincts—you know how to work with product, engineering, and sales without needing everything defined for you
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates crisp messaging and storytelling
Comfort with ambiguity and the pace of an early-stage company; you thrive when building from scratch
Experience at a startup or rapidly growing company and performs well under pressure
Nice to have:
Background in enterprise infrastructure, developer tools, or AI/ML products
Experience marketing to public sector or regulated industries
Familiarity with the AI agent and workflow orchestration landscape
Experience with product-led growth motions alongside enterprise sales
We're committed to creating a space where our employees can bring their full selves to work and have equal opportunity to succeed. So regardless of race, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, origin, ability, or age, we encourage you to apply!
Don't meet every single requirement? If you're excited about this role and the company but your past experience doesn't align with every qualification, we still encourage you to apply anyway—we'd love to get to know you and see if there's a place for you at Thread!
