The NFL Media Group is seeking a versatile editor with experience producing who has advanced skills in After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere. The digital VOD editor is responsible for executing daily deliverables for NFL digital platforms using game highlights and custom graphics.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize key storylines from around the NFL and understand how to shape them from an official league platform POV
  • Develop expert-level understanding of broader NFL digital audience and platform-specific audiences
  • Demonstrate high-level knowledge of NFL players, terminology, gameplay, and strategy
  • Work with content leads, talent, and other stakeholders to shape platform-specific concepts and deliverables
  • Execute post-production workflows including sourcing footage, building graphics, sourcing music, executing notes, versioning, delivery, and publishing process
  • Develop mastery of WSC and AI-driven production tools to supplement and scale post-production output
  • Manage the story telling behind each creative output to ensure it is clear, concise, and tailored to our platform-specific audiences

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in production environment working with social media platforms
  • Experience editing high-end content for social/ digital platforms
  • Must follow and have thorough knowledge of the National Football League, associated events and storylines
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including advanced skills in using Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop
  • Must be able to take complex stories and concisely tell them to our fans
  • Must be adaptable and able to work quickly under short deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

  •   Bachelor’s degree in journalism, broadcast media, web production or related field preferred

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • Full-time seasonal employment up to 7 months
