We are excited to offer an internal opportunity for a Community Engagement Manager to expand The Source's visibility, strengthen community partnerships, and cultivate and steward meaningful relationships that advance both the mission and fundraising goals of the organization.
As a visible ambassador for The Source, the Community Engagement Manager represents the organization throughout the community, building trust and fostering partnerships that support long-term ministry impact and philanthropic growth.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement an annual community engagement strategy aligned with organizational growth and fundraising goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with churches, healthcare providers, businesses, schools, universities, civic organizations, nonprofit partners, and community leaders.
- Represent The Source at networking events, ministry fairs, health fairs, chamber events, and community meetings.
- Conduct presentations and educational opportunities that increase awareness of The Source's services and mission.
- Collaborate with Clinic Directors to identify outreach opportunities that increase access to care within the community.
- Maintain an annual fundraising goal through sponsorships, third-party events, community partnerships, and donor cultivation activities.
- Identify prospective individual, corporate, church, and foundation partners and introduce qualified prospects to the Development team.
- Cultivate and steward community relationships that lead to sponsorships, event participation, volunteer engagement, and charitable giving.
- Recruit table hosts, sponsors, and attendees for fundraising events and campaigns.
- Partner with the Senior Development Officer and Senior Director of Development on donor cultivation and stewardship opportunities.
- Represent The Source at community events with the ability to confidently communicate opportunities for philanthropic investment.
- Establish and strengthen referral partnerships with physicians, healthcare providers, schools, pregnancy resource organizations, social service agencies, and community organizations.
- Maintain regular communication with referral partners to encourage ongoing collaboration.
- Track referral activity and partnership engagement within Salesforce.
- Identify opportunities to expand outreach into underserved communities.
- Recruit volunteers and community ambassadors who support the mission of The Source.
- Cultivate relationships that encourage long-term volunteerism and advocacy.
- Support volunteer appreciation and recognition initiatives.
- Partner with Development, Marketing, Operations, and Clinic Leadership to coordinate outreach initiatives.
- Share community intelligence, partnership opportunities, and prospect information that supports fundraising efforts.
- Participate in annual fundraising events, campaigns, and organizational initiatives.

We're looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in community engagement, relationship management, business development, nonprofit fundraising, healthcare outreach, or sales.
- Demonstrated success building strategic relationships and partnerships.
- Experience with fundraising, sponsorship development, or donor cultivation is preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and public speaking skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce (preferred).
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned service area.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
