From the employer

We are a premier, established independent commercial brokerage headquartered in Irvine, California. Operating since 2010, our firm specializes in comprehensive commercial risk management and tailored HR/compliance advisory services, with a primary focus on middle-market manufacturing and industrial businesses across the region.

Backed by relationships with leading national carriers, we deliver specialized coverages—ranging from equipment breakdown, supply chain, and product liability to casualty, group benefits, and HR compliance support. We are seeking an innovative, hands-on, and revenue-driven Director of Growth / Marketing to spearhead our demand generation and pipeline expansion strategies.

Position Summary

The Director of Growth / Marketing will serve as the engine behind our company’s client acquisition strategy. In this high-impact role, you will build and own a predictable, scalable lead generation model targeting middle-market manufacturing executives, business owners, and operational leaders.

We are looking for a dynamic strategist who is both analytical and personable—someone who can architect data-driven multi-channel marketing campaigns, streamline our sales technology stack, and attend targeted industry events to build high-value relationships.

  • Pipeline & Lead Generation: Design and execute performance-driven marketing strategies to generate a continuous, high-quality pipeline of qualified manufacturing prospects.
  • Campaign & Strategy Ownership: Lead multi-channel growth initiatives across email marketing, content marketing, digital advertising, direct mail, and trade association networks.
  • CRM & Marketing Technology: Build, optimize, and manage our marketing automation infrastructure. Cleanse and segment prospect data (currently transitioning from spreadsheet tracking into Pipedrive) and establish seamless nurture sequences.
  • Industry Engagement & Social Networking: Represent the agency at key industry trade shows, manufacturing conferences, and local business events. Serve as a personable brand ambassador to drive networking and referral partnerships (non-transactional sales capacity).
  • Sales Collateral & Enablement: Create and refine high-converting sales materials, pitch decks, client case studies, and digital assets that support the producer team throughout the sales cycle.

  • Analytics & Marketing ROI:
Establish key marketing metrics, track campaign effectiveness, analyze conversion funnels, and regularly report clear return on investment (ROI) to executive leadership.

  • Experience: 5+ years of proven B2B growth marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing experience with a track record of driving measurable pipeline revenue.
  • CRM & Automation Mastery: Hands-on expertise in CRM setup, pipeline management, database segmentation, and marketing automation systems (experience with Pipedrive or similar platforms required).
  • Technical & Analytical Mindset: Ability to extract insights from raw data, optimize conversion pathways, and execute multi-channel campaigns from end-to-end.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills—comfortable connecting naturally with executives and prospects at industry events.

Preferred / "Nice-to-Have" Qualifications:

  • Prior experience marketing to manufacturing, industrial, middle-market, or complex B2B decision-makers.

  • Familiarity with commercial insurance or industry agency management systems (such as AMS360) is helpful, but insurance experience is explicitly NOT required.
