What you'll do

What you bring
- A diploma, Higher Nitec or Nitec in event management, hospitality, mass communication, marketing or a related field
- At least five years working in event management, AV operations or a comparable field
- Practical knowledge of AV systems, performance support equipment, PCs and Microsoft Office
- Availability for extended hours and weekend work when event delivery requires it

Summary
Responsible for the operation, maintenance and technical support of Audio-Visual (AV) and Control Systems, while providing AV support for events, functions and training activities. Ideal Candidate: An experienced AV and Events professional with strong hands-on technical capability who can manage AV maintenance, troubleshooting and event support while coordinating technicians, vendors and clients.

Responsibilities:
- Manage AV equipment maintenance, servicing, inspections and repairs.
- Monitor and follow up on AV faults and service requests through CMMS.
- Coordinate AV Technicians, vendors and specialised servicing.
- Set up, operate and troubleshoot sound systems, projectors, screens, lighting and AV control systems.
- Provide technical support during events and respond to breakdowns and last-minute technical issues.
- Coordinate event setup, breakdown and on-site AV operations.
- Work closely with clients/users to understand event requirements and provide technical advice.
- Maintain accurate AV asset records and monitor equipment reliability.
- Track AV-related expenditure and provide reports to management.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Higher Nitec / Nitec in Event Management, Hospitality, Mass Communication, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event management, AV operations or a related field.
- Good knowledge of AV systems and performance support equipment.
- Good PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when required for event execution.
- Preferred: Experience with GrandMA2 lighting console, Yamaha Audio Consoles and Crestron Control systems.
