What you'll do

What you bring
- Several years in business development, sales, product management, or key account management within aerospace and defense
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, aerospace, business administration, or a comparable qualification
- Strong knowledge of aerospace and defense markets, technologies, standards, and certification processes
- A track record of creating product strategies and managing products across their lifecycle
- Fluent German and English, plus willingness to travel nationally and internationally about half the time

- Identifikation, Entwicklung und Realisierung neuer Geschäftsmöglichkeiten für unsere Business Line Composite Materials im Bereich Aerospace & Defense
- Aufbau und Pflege langfristiger Beziehungen zu Schlüsselkunden (z. B. OEMs, Tier-1-Zulieferern, Airlines, Defense-Unternehmen), auch durch aktives Networking mit Technologie- und F&E-Bereichen
- Repräsentation der SGL Carbon bei Kunden, auf Messen, Konferenzen und Networking-Events
- Analyse von Marktpotenzialen, Wettbewerbsumfeld und Technologietrends zur Ableitung von Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten
- Erarbeitung und Umsetzung von Produktstrategien und Roadmaps auf Basis von Markt- und Kundenanforderungen
- Steuerung des Produktlebenszyklus von der Konzeptphase bis zum End-of-Life in enger Abstimmung mit internen Schnittstellen wie Engineering und Technologie, Projektmanagement, Marketing, Finance und Operations
- Unterstützung weiterer Business Lines und Produktgruppen im Rahmen von Cross-Selling-Initiativen, z. B. für Bauteile aus Faserverbund sowie Graphit
- Entwicklung von Business Cases und Steuerung von Angebots- und Verhandlungsprozessen bis zum Vertragsabschluss
- Sicherstellung der Einhaltung aller relevanten Zertifizierungen, Qualitäts- und Sicherheitsvorgaben
Ihr Profil:
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Business Development, Vertrieb, Produktmanagement oder Key Account Management in der Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie
- Bachelor- oder Masterabschluss im Bereich Ingenieurwesen, Luft- und Raumfahrt, Betriebswirtschaft oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Fundiertes Verständnis der Märkte, Technologien, Standards und Zertifizierungsprozesse in der Luft- und Raumfahrt
- Nachweisliche Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Produktstrategien und im Management von Produktlebenszyklen
- Ausgeprägte analytische, kaufmännische und strategische Denkweise
- Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Kompetenz im Stakeholder-Management
- Fähigkeit zur funktionsübergreifenden Zusammenarbeit in einem hochtechnischen Umfeld
- Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, weitere Sprachen sind von Vorteil
- Reisebereitschaft (national sowie international, ca. 50 %)
