About the Team:

We are looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to own the go-to-market strategy for one or more of SecurityScorecard's core product lines. This is a senior individual contributor role that operates at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing — translating complex cybersecurity capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with security leaders, risk professionals, and enterprise buyers.

You will be a strategic partner to Product and Sales, shaping how we position and launch products, enabling the field to win competitive deals, and producing thought leadership that establishes SecurityScorecard as the definitive voice in the market.

About the Role:

What You'll Do

Positioning & Messaging

  • Own end-to-end product positioning and messaging for your product area, grounded in deep buyer research and competitive intelligence
  • Develop differentiated value propositions that speak to CISOs, risk leaders, procurement, and technical practitioners across enterprise and mid-market segments
  • Translate product capabilities into business outcomes — moving conversations from feature lists to strategic value

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Lead GTM planning and execution for major product launches, from beta through general availability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Demand Gen, Sales, and Customer Success to align launch timing, messaging, and field readiness
  • Monitor and leverage relevant competitive intelligence — and develop GTM responses to market shifts and rival positioning, and identify win/loss patterns to sharpen SSC's product positioning

Sales Enablement

  • Create high-impact sales tools: battlecards, pitch decks, objection handling guides, demo scripts, and ROI frameworks
  • Deliver enablement sessions for Account Executives, SEs, and Partner teams — equipping them to confidently articulate value and navigate competitive situations
  • Partner with Revenue leadership to identify pipeline gaps and build marketing programs that accelerate deal velocity

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Produce authoritative content — white papers, solution briefs, case studies, executive presentations — that establishes SSC's authority in cybersecurity ratings and risk quantification
  • Represent SSC's product vision at industry events, analyst briefings, and customer advisory sessions
  • Contribute to analyst relations efforts to strengthen SSC's market positioning

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 3 years in B2B enterprise software or cybersecurity
  • Proven track record of leading successful product launches with measurable GTM impact
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication — you can make complex topics accessible without oversimplifying them
  • Deep experience building sales enablement assets and delivering field training
  • Strong analytical mindset — you use data to define strategy and measure what matters
  • Ability to influence without authority across Product, Sales, and Marketing stakeholders
  • Experience with the cybersecurity buyer journey is strongly preferred; familiarity with security ratings, VRM/TPRM and GRC is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus.

Benefits:

Specific to each country, we offer a competitive salary, stock options, Health benefits, and unlimited PTO, parental leave, tuition reimbursements, and much more!

The estimated total compensation range for this position is $170,000 - $210,000 (base plus bonus).
