The Graphic Designer is responsible for producing visually engaging, brand-consistent creative assets across digital, print, and e-commerce platforms. In addition to core design duties, this role includes supporting and executing product photography for online retail, ensuring that imagery is high quality, accurately represents the product, and aligns with brand standards. Reporting to the Graphic Design Manager, the Graphic Designer works closely with marketing, sales and product teams to support campaigns, product launches and day-to-day content creation with strong visual storytelling and attention to detail.

Graphic Design & Creative Development

•Participate in the development and execution of allocated graphic design projects including marketing campaigns, packaging, advertising, digital images, printed range books and product guides, website, advertising, packaging/ labels, retail and POS materials and internal communications.

•Collaborate closely with marketing, product design and other departments to interpret briefs and deliver visually engaging assets that align with brand strategy and campaign objectives.

•Adhere to graphic design workflows, timelines and priorities to ensure on-time delivery and efficient use of resources with responsibility for ensuring all creative work adheres to established standards for design quality, tone, accuracy, and consistency.

Artwork/ Images

•Prepare artwork and images for print and digital output, ensuring files are accurate, production-ready, and meet technical specifications.

•Development and maintenance of visual assets, templates and brand resources – including images, range books, lookbooks, product guides advertising, packaging, labels, signage, EDM’s, Flyers, website

•Producing multiple design variations and resizing assets for different platforms and formats

E-comm & Product Photography

•Assist with range model fit castings

•Organise and attend location photoshoots

•Organise Photography SMS’s for each shoot (apparel, footwear & accessories) and return to warehouse afterwards

Quality Assurance

•Maintain quality control processes across all graphic design workflows—reviewing, proofing, and approving all assets before release.

•Stay current on graphic design trends, tools and technologies, introducing new ideas and innovations to enhance visual communication

Reporting

•Provide regular reports and updates on projects to the Graphic Design Manager and other departments as required.

Comply with and promotes all Thomas Cook Boot & Clothing Co workplace procedures, OHS and HR Policies at all times

Required Qualifications/ Skills

Education

•Relevant tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field

Experience

•Minimum of 5 years of experience in Graphic Design

Skills & Attributes

•Strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence across various media.

•Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

•Understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and colour correction for both print and digital applications.

•Strong attention to detail and visual consistency, particularly in image preparation for e-commerce, with an eye for clean, consistent aesthetics.

•Strategic thinker with a proactive approach
