Job Overview
We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager who can translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with defense and government audiences. You’ll own the product marketing function — shaping how our platforms and autonomy stack are positioned, messaged, and presented to the customers and stakeholders who matter most.
This role sits at the intersection of product, growth, and creative, and is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments where the technology is as ambitious as the mission.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive product positioning, messaging frameworks, and win themes across Saronic’s portfolio of autonomous surface vessels and software capabilities
Own and implement marketing campaigns designed to further audience understanding of Saronic’s core capabilities
Work closely with growth to help maintain a library of product marketing collateral including presentation decks, slick sheets, capability briefs, and other materials
Partner closely with the product team to deeply understand platform capabilities, roadmap priorities, and technical differentiators — and translate them into customer-facing value propositions
Collaborate with the growth and business development teams to ensure marketing materials directly support capture efforts, proposals, and customer engagements
Work with the creative team to brief and produce high-quality visual assets, graphics, and multimedia content that support product marketing initiatives
Own and contribute to product-related web copy, ensuring messaging is consistent, current, and optimized for target audiences
Support trade show and event presence by helping define key content themes and overall participation strategy
Track and analyze the effectiveness of product marketing efforts, iterating based on customer feedback and market response
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in defense, aerospace, or other highly technical industries
Demonstrated ability to distill complex, technical subject matter into clear, persuasive messaging for non-technical and semi-technical audiences
Exceptional writing and editing skills
Experience producing marketing collateral for government or defense customers, including familiarity with how defense procurement and capture processes work
Track record of close collaboration with product management, engineering, and sales/BD teams
Self-starter comfortable operating in a high-velocity startup environment
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, engineering, or a related field
U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
Strong visual sensibility and experience briefing creative teams on asset production
Familiarity with defense contract vehicles, proposal support, and the language of government buyers
Experience with platforms such as Salesforce or similar CRM/marketing automation systems
Experience working in high-growth startup environments
Ability to operate autonomously and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
