The Pratt & Whitney Digital Technology team has an exciting new opportunity available for an Associate Director, DT Sales & Distribution, Warehousing .


This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our campus in East Hartford, Connecticut.



What You Will Do:


- Senior leader and subject matter expert for all Pratt & Whitney Warehouse Management solutions, Sale & Distribution and Global Trade (SAP GTS) associated business processes.


- Functional Leader supporting projects using waterfall or agile methodologies.


- Lead cross functional teams to provide seamless integration between Sales & Distribution, Warehouse Management Systems and other enterprise applications.


- Lead business analysts, business stakeholders and other functional areas to define process enhancements for Sales & Distribution and Warehouse Management systems that streamline business processes.


- Interface with business leadership and manage 3rd party suppliers to deliver high performing Sales & Distribution and Warehouse Management Systems.


- Execute project deliverables to defined schedules and budgets to ensure project deliverables are achieved within project schedule and budget.


- Interface with enterprise teams, business partners, senior management and build relationships.


- Design integrated solutions, taking advantage of today’s growing S&D/WMS automation toolsets.


- Clearly understand business processes and requirements and develop these requirements into application solutions that meet or exceed the defined business requirements.


- Understand the technical capabilities of SAP, specifically SAP WM/EWM, Fiori and other Warehouse Management applications, Sales and Distribution, SAP GTS and troubleshoot the applications to identify the root cause of an issue and drive to closure.


- Design and influence business solutions utilizing both existing internal systems and the latest technology to meet or exceed the defined business requirements.


- Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve application performance, quality, and reliability.


- Ensure production applications meet agreed upon service levels.



Qualifications You Must Have:


- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information System, Information Technology, or related technical field and 12+ years of hands on applicable work experience; OR an Advanced degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field and 10+ years of hands on applicable work experience.


- 5+ years of experience leading teams responsible for the delivery of complex DT solutions in large multinational organizations.


- 5+ years of experience with managing Warehousing and Sales and Distribution Applications in a manufacturing environment.


- US Citizenship is required.



Qualifications We Prefer:


- Working knowledge of the SAP WM, EWM S&D and SAP GTS modules.


- Experience migrating SAP ECC to SAP S4 EWM S&D and SAP GTS modules.

- An overall understanding of SAP systems that interface with WM, WM/EWM and GTS such as Material Master, Production Planning and Execution and Solumina (Manufacturing Execution System).


- Strong technical experience working in a complex SAP landscape, specifically ECC, S4 and Fiori.


- Problem solving and analytical abilities including the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and apply sound business knowledge.


- Expert in developing functional requirements and translating those requirements into application code that meets the business requirements.


- Strong in teamwork and multitasking in a highly complex environment, including leading people.


- Candidate must have demonstrated leadership of successful process improvement initiatives.


- Demonstrated focus on process development and implementation that spans organizational boundaries.


- Ability to effectively influence and direct the actions of those not within the direct reporting chain is essential.


- Ability to quickly acquire knowledge, understand and interpret business processes.


- Act in partnership with the business and be recognized as a valued contributor to the business.


- Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, verbal, written communication and technical skills are essential.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
