- Fluent Spanish and English at C1 or C2 level, plus experience with commercial excellence, analytics, metrics, and budget optimization

The Position
The Position
The Breast & Gyne Marketing Lead (ML) leads the strategic, cross-functional, and operational marketing organization within the Breast Therapeutic Area. Moving beyond traditional product management, the ML holds end-to-end accountability for designing and executing holistic marketing strategies across current products and upcoming pipeline launches. Acting as a VACC leader (Visionary, Architect, Coach, Catalyst), the ML directs brand management, digital strategy, customer insights, and strategic communications. The role ensures commercial excellence, optimizes resource allocation, and fosters an agile, high-performing squad aligned with global networks and local healthcare ecosystem priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership and End-to-End Governance
- Leading from a marketing perspective the disease area strategy across all products and indications, ensuring cross-squad alignment, strategic coherence, and maximum market impact.
- Acts as the ultimate decision-maker for the marketing function, streamlining governance to enhance execution speed, agility, and business responsiveness.
- Ensuring Commercialization Excellence standards, leading high-impact initiatives such as advanced segmentation, targeting, market potential modeling, and performance reporting in direct alignment with global and local teams.
- Team Leadership, VACC Mindset, and Talent Acceleration
- Builds, coaches, and empowers a high-performing marketing team, fostering an environment of psychological safety, diversity, and continuous learning.
- Drives functional talent development, defining capabilities roadmaps and building a robust internal pipeline for future strategic roles.
- Establishes clear calibration frameworks and objective evaluation metrics to maximize team performance and engagement.
- Omnichannel Strategy and Ecosystem Engagement
- Oversees integrated, data-driven omnichannel marketing plans (online and offline), embedding digital trends, advanced metrics, and predictive analytics into business decisions.
- Ensures seamless coordination with the inField Teams, establishing direct, high-value relationships with key Therapeutic Area Experts (TAEs) and healthcare stakeholders.
- Directs communication, digital execution, and market research functions to guarantee unified brand positioning and superior customer experience.
- Global Network and Market Intelligence
- Actively represents the affiliate within the international pharma network and pathology-specific global working groups to leverage business opportunities and Global Product Strategy (GPS).
- Monitors market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and regulatory trends to anticipate disruptions, identify strategic growth vectors, and mitigate commercial risks.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Pharmacy, Marketing, or related life science disciplines. An advanced business degree (MBA or Master’s in Marketing Strategy) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of robust marketing experience within the pharmaceutical industry or complex healthcare environments, with a proven track record of managing multi-product portfolios or high-complexity launches.
- Minimum 2 years of robust hospital market experience in Spain.
- Demonstrated experience in functional or direct people management, with proven ability to coach, mentor, and elevate strategic capabilities in cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of the Spanish hospital market dynamics, market access processes, and field operations.
- Proven expertise in leading commercial excellence programs, data analytics tools, advanced marketing metrics, and budget optimization.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities, with demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships across internal matrix structures and external creative/strategic networks.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory (C1/C2 level).
