What’s the role?

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who will own marketing execution for FirstSpirit in the DACH region: demand generation, event and campaign delivery, content, and partner marketing. The role operates as the single point of ownership for marketing deliverables, replacing the prior distributed/co-owned model. The Senior Marketing Manager is expected to run campaigns and events end to end, personally accountable for outcomes, not as a co-owner alongside freelancers or agencies. The role works closely with DACH Sales leadership to ensure marketing output is directly tied to pipeline and revenue impact, and manages external agencies and vendors under a clear approval process.

What will you be doing?

  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns across Linkedin, digital media, email, and newsletters, with clear KPIs and a strong focus on generating DACH sales pipeline.
  • Own major events such as DMEXCO and flagship events end-to-end, including planning, communications, KPIs, webinars, booth coordination, vendors, and team coverage.
  • Maintain visibility of all marketing activities, assess initiatives against budget and sales priorities, and ensure appropriate approvals and governance.
  • Manage the marketing budget, including vendor and advertising spend, ensuring all commitments follow the approved budget and sign-off processes.
  • Develop and coordinate joint marketing initiatives with technology and channel partners, including co-branded campaigns and webinars.
  • Manage relationships with key industry analysts such as Gartner and Forrester, coordinate briefings and RFIs, and leverage analyst insights to support sales positioning.
  • Manage external marketing agencies from selection and onboarding through briefing, delivery, quality control, and performance management.
  • Work closely with Sales, RevOps, Product, partners, and leadership, providing regular written updates on progress, blockers, priorities, and pipeline contribution.

Who are you?

  • 5+ years in B2B marketing, ideally within enterprise SaaS, DXP/CMS, MarTech, or related technology sectors.
  • Proven ability to own campaigns and events end-to-end, from planning and execution through to measurable results.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing external agencies and vendors, including budgets, tenders, and performance accountability.
  • Experience working with industry analysts such as Gartner and Forrester on briefings, inquiries, and report inclusion.
  • Fluent German and English, with hands-on experience across LinkedIn Ads, digital media, email marketing, and newsletter platforms.
  • Strong ability to align marketing activity with sales pipeline objectives, track performance, and demonstrate measurable business impact.
  • Experience in enterprise/industrial sectors such as Manufacturing, Automotive, or Financial Services, with exposure to trade shows, partner marketing, CRM/marketing automation, and AI-assisted marketing workflows.
