Department Overview

The Commerce & Marketing Technology Division is responsible for product management, development, and operations for various products including "Rakuten Ichiba" (our founding business), "Rakuten Fashion," "Rakuten Travel," "Rakuten GORA," and many others.

You will drive sustained product growth by engaging in discussions with product planning and creative departments (marketers and designers) about product improvements and promoting product development.

Position Details

As a Product Manager for assigned products and features, you will:

  • Clarify business and system requirements based on proposals from business units and create product specifications

  • Identify improvement points based on various KPIs and feedback from users/clients, and create product specifications

  • Create improvement roadmaps for assigned products and manage backlogs

  • Communicate with a wide range of stakeholders to align understanding and drive projects forward

  • Ability to work with long-term plans in mind rather than focusing only on immediate concerns

  • Ability to understand matters from a user perspective

Mandatory Qualifications:
