IBRANCE changed the treatment paradigm for metastatic breast cancer when it launched in 2015. As the brand approaches loss of exclusivity (LOE), the US team needs an integrated operating lead who keeps IBRANCE's execution sharp through its final chapter, including congresses, agency operations, etc while actively building the bridge into launch tactics for the future portfolio. The scientific platforms, agency relationships, and operating rhythms built here should transfer forward, not get rebuilt from scratch for the next launch.

This is a role for a marketing leader who thrives on solving complex problems in a competitive market and wants both halves of the brand lifecycle; defending an in-line asset through the tape, and building the operational foundation a new set of launches will be built on. This individual must be able to excel in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, make immediate business impact, think outside the box, and actively contribute to a positive team culture.

The Senior Manager, IBRANCE Integrated Marketing & Operations reports to the US IBRANCE / BC Pipeline Brand Lead and serves as the integrated operating lead across the brand; creating structure and accountability today while designing for what a launch team will need tomorrow. The BC team is a large, dynamic team with significant opportunity, so responsibilities may shift over time based on business needs and individual interest.

Role Responsibilities

Integrated Marketing, Operations & Agency Management (~40% of time)

  • Lead IBRANCE's integrated operating cadence — POA, Strategic and Tactical Plan execution, business reviews, and weekly agency status calls — with clear action, decision, risk, and dependency tracking through to closure
  • Coordinate cross-functional planning and execution across Patient Marketing, HCP NPP, Personal Promotion, Medical, Sales, Analytics, Finance, and agency partners
  • Maintain integrated project and agency timelines connecting priorities, owners, milestones, budgets, and dependencies across workstreams
  • Integrate progress, performance, budget, and risk into concise updates for leadership and business reviews
  • Build scalable tools and processes that improve workflow and accountability without duplicating functional leads' strategic ownership

Congress & Scientific Engagement (~30% of time)

  • Lead Congress and Peer-to-Peer strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with pan-indication lifecycle priorities
  • Oversee development and launch of new speaker decks and speaker training
  • Partner cross-functionally to align scientific narrative, promotional strategy, and field execution, and to maximize scientific presence supporting the lifecycle narrative
  • Own end-to-end logistics for priority congresses, budgets, housing, sponsorship, staffing, onsite readiness, and lead post-congress reconciliation and closeout

Specialty Pharmacy Partnerships & Program Close-Out (~15% of time)

  • Serve as the marketing point of contact for IBRANCE's specialty pharmacy relationships, partnering with USMA to manage day-to-day coordination and ensure alignment on program status and requirements
  • Lead close-out of specialty pharmacy programs and related patient support/access tactics as they wind down ahead of LOE, including documentation, and final reconciliation
  • Flag and escalate any patient continuity-of-care risks arising from program close-out, coordinating with USMA and Market Access on transition support as needed

IBRANCE Close-Out → Launch Bridge (~15% of time)

  • Sequence the wind-down of IBRANCE tactics against the ramp-up of pre-launch activity to minimize duplicated effort
  • Support execution of IBRANCE's Dispense as Written (DAW) strategy as LOE approaches
  • Maintain a working inventory of reusable assets, scientific platforms, speaker networks, congress infrastructure, agency processes, that should carry into future launch plans, and flag capability gaps early
  • Act as an operational thought partner to the Prifetrastat launch team during pre-launch build, sharing lessons from IBRANCE's operating model

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Must have a bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare commercial experience, including substantial congress management, integrated marketing operations, and cross-functional project leadership; OR a master's degree with at least 5 years of experience; OR a PhD with 1+ years of experience
  • Ability to run multiple concurrent workstreams, stakeholders, and deadlines with high attention to detail, and to bring structure to ambiguity — including a brand transition with no fixed playbook
  • Strong oncology/pharma commercial knowledge, with the analytical fluency to connect performance insights to execution and investment decisions
  • Clear, effective communicator who builds trust across functions and with external partners without relying on direct authority
  • Compliance mindset and experience operating within promotional review, procurement, and financial policy requirements
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, achieve meaningful outcomes, and create business impact.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Previous US oncology or breast cancer marketing experience
  • Experience leading large national congresses end-to-end, including exhibit strategy and production
  • Experience operating through a brand LOE or product transition/handoff
  • Familiarity with POA processes, agency governance, and enterprise workflow or financial tools

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 30%, including priority congresses; occasional evening/weekend congress support as needed
