From the employer
ROLE SUMMARY
BRAFTOVI is a growth driver in Pfizer Oncology’s Precision Medicine & Thoracic Franchise, and metastatic colorectal cancer is its engine, progressing the BREAKWATER launch. Following full FDA approval and the expanded 1L indication for BRAFTOVI in combination with cetuximab and fluorouracil-based chemotherapy, CRC is expected to remain a growth priority over the next 3–4 years. For BRAF V600E mCRC patients, the window from diagnosis to first-line treatment is short and decisive — and too many eligible patients never start the right regimen because a BRAF+ result arrives late, isn’t visible at the point of decision, or isn’t acted on in time. Closing that testing-to-treatment gap is the single biggest operational unlock in the CRC funnel. This role owns it.
This is the CRC seat accountable for Strategic Imperative #1 — elevating all BRAF+ test results to enable BRAFTOVI combination initiation where appropriate — the foundational imperative the rest of the CRC strategy depends on. You own testing rate, rapid testing, and testing visibility; lab alert actionability and execution; and the account-level workflow changes that convert a BRAF+ result into a 1L start. This role has real latitude to design custom lab-alert-triggered and workflow-based solutions rather than run an existing playbook. Alongside the CRC mandate, you carry pan-tumor BRAF/MEK leadership responsibilities spanning consumer and advocacy, operating-plan and strategic-planning coordination, promotional review (RC) governance and more. At ten months and full-time equivalent, the role carries the full weight and franchise visibility of the permanent seat, with direct exposure to franchise and commercial leadership.
