This position is being recruited by Pakistan Single Window (PSW) on behalf of the National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority (NAFSA). NAFSA is being established as a strategic national initiative to strengthen Pakistan’s agri-trade ecosystem through enhanced regulatory oversight, facilitation, and modernization of food safety and trade processes. The selected candidate will be part of NAFSA’s foundational team, contributing to the development of systems, processes, and institutional capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor print, electronic, and digital media coverage relevant to NAFSA’s mandate and maintain daily/weekly media logs, issue trackers, and press clippings in a structured and retrievable format.
  • Prepare routine media summaries and basic sentiment/issue notes for review by the Assistant Director/Deputy Director, flagging emerging risks, misinformation, or sensitive stories for escalation.
  • Support drafting and formatting of routine communication materials including short updates, internal notices, stakeholder briefs, event write-ups, and content snippets as assigned, ensuring alignment with approved messaging and branding.
  • Support outreach, workshops, consultations, and events through logistics coordination, invitations/distribution, venue support, photography/documentation, and post-event summaries.
  • Maintain communication archives and repositories (approved materials, media coverage records, event documentation) with proper version control and confidentiality safeguards.
  • Maintain and periodically update contact databases, media lists, stakeholder distribution lists, and mailing groups; ensure controlled access and accurate records.
  • Provide administrative support for communication campaigns including trackers, timelines, coordination with vendors/outsourced firms, and compilation of deliverables for review.
  • Assist in coordination of approvals and documentation trails for communications outputs (drafts, clearances, release records) as required.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Assistant Director (External/Internal Communications) or Director Communications consistent with NAFSA’s mandate.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s (minimum 16 years) in Mass Communication, Journalism, PR, or related discipline.

Experience

  • 2–4 years of relevant communications/PR support experience.
  • Good writing skills, coordination ability, and computer proficiency.
