What it’s like to be a Northbridge Senior Digital Communications Specialist

As an Senior Digital Communications Specialist at Northbridge, you’ll play a key role in how information flows across the organization and how employees experience our digital workplace. Sitting within our Employee Communications team in People & Culture, you’ll own updates, enhancements, and optimization of our intranet (built on Microsoft SharePoint) and our Northbridge Careers website.

You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across the business – including IT, Cyber, People & Culture, and senior leaders – to deliver engaging, branded, intuitive content and digital experiences. As the organization’s platform subject matter expert, you’ll guide teams on best practices, support daily content needs, bring forward enhancements, and ensure our digital channels stay modern, functional, and aligned to business priorities.

  • Conceptualizing and designing intuitive web pages and digital experiences

  • Managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment

  • Providing exceptional consultation and customer service to internal stakeholders

  • Troubleshooting, testing, and implementing digital solutions

  • Thinking creatively about continuous improvement in employee communications

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience developing, publishing, and maintaining website content

  • Hands‑on experience with Intranet/Microsoft SharePoint (required)

  • Experience working with digital tools such as CMS platforms, web applications, and email marketing or automation services (e.g., tools similar to Contact Monkey/Workshop)

  • Understanding of internet/intranet principles, information architecture, and web design

  • Post‑secondary education in Web Development, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • A continuous improvement mindset with curiosity about modern digital, AI‑enabled communication approaches

  • Experience in complex corporate environments (e.g., banking, large enterprises) is preferred

We’re committed to pay transparency and fairness. The base salary range for this role is $82,000 – $120,000, which reflects the expected base pay – not the total compensation package. The actual base salary may vary depending on your experience, skills, and alignment with the position.
