What you'll do
- Run a defined Amazon category as its P&L, tracking availability, contribution margin, TACOS, and profit
- Check leading SKUs each day for rival prices, promotions, inventory, Buy Box status, and listing condition
- Set prices under established rules, adjusting ad spend or price when low stock threatens a winning SKU
- Keep proven products available by coordinating forecasts and sourcing, then clear aging or discontinued stock
- Improve listings and expand successful products to Walmart, Shopify, and Canada while documenting repeatable SOPs
What you bring
- Bring at least three years managing an Amazon Seller Central account, preferably with category or P&L ownership
- Understand Amazon fees, FBA economics, Buy Box behavior, and pricing well enough to calculate SKU contribution margin
- Use Helium 10 or a comparable tool, Seller Central reports, and spreadsheets
- Write excellent English, communicate proactively while remote, and raise blockers before deadlines slip
- Make independent commercial decisions and build SOPs, checklists, and decision trees
Who this fits
This suits a commercially minded Amazon operator who wants direct responsibility for category results, daily SKU decisions, and repeatable processes. The role is remote in Mexico and requires one full-time commitment with no other clients or roles. Walmart experience helps, while Shopify or Canada experience and home, hardware, electrical, or commodity consumables experience are bonuses.
From the employer
The Role:
You will own a defined block of our catalog (starting with extension cords, our largest category) like a P&L. You will know your category and your top competitors cold, watch your listings every day, and make the pricing, inventory, and advertising calls that protect rank and margin. This is a judgment and ownership role. Not data entry. Not catalog cleanup. Not dashboard watching.
Responsibilities:
Category P&L: in-stock rate, contribution margin, TACOS, and category profit. You run it like an owner.
Daily monitoring of your top SKUs: competitor pricing, deals and lightning deals, stock positions, Buy Box, and listing health.
Pricing decisions within a clear rule set, including our low-stock governor (when a winner runs low, you decide whether to raise price or pull ad spend to protect rank instead of going out of stock).
In-stock discipline on core winners, working with forecasting and sourcing so proven sellers are never starved.
Listing quality: titles, images, A+ content, variations, and pack configurations.
Liquidation calls on end-of-life and slow-moving inventory.
Channel growth: extend your winners onto Walmart, Shopify, and Canada.
SOPs and decision trees that make the role scalable and repeatable.
Responsibilities:
3+ years running an Amazon Seller Central account, ideally owning a category or P&L
Fluency in Amazon fees, FBA economics, Buy Box dynamics, and pricing. You can calculate a SKU's contribution margin in your sleep.
Strong commercial judgment. You decide and own outcomes, you do not wait to be told.
Comfort with Helium 10 or similar, Seller Central reporting, and spreadsheets
Excellent written English and proactive remote communication, including flagging blockers before they become missed deadlines
Ability to build and improve SOPs, checklists, and decision trees
Walmart Marketplace a strong plus. Shopify or Canada a plus.
Bonus: home, hardware, electrical, or commodity consumable categories
Single full-time commitment, no other clients or roles
