From the employer
What You’ll Do:
We're looking for a Brand Designer to join our Marketing & Communications team in Los Angeles or New York City on a 6-month fixed term contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the creative components of Nexxen’s global marketing campaigns, designing digital ads, video assets, presentations, digital assets across email, web, and social media properties, and experiential assets including signage, invitations and event landing pages and microsites that help us to own our space in the digital advertising industry. The Brand Designer will drive our visual identity forward, producing exceptional, visually engaging, impactful designs that represent and elevate Nexxen’s brand identity. Reporting into the Director, Brand Design, you will apply your experience and broaden your expertise in bringing our brand stories to life via multiple creative campaigns and deliverables.
Our team follows a hybrid schedule working in-office three days a week and remotely for the rest.
Each day can be different here at Nexxen, but some of the things you can expect to be doing daily include:
Embrace project ownership and design vision in the creation of branded digital and experiential marketing materials
Collaborate with different teams at all levels, driving projects autonomously from start to finish, anticipating, addressing and managing stakeholder feedback, approval, and post-campaign follow-up
Apply broad knowledge of design with a hands-on approach and high skill levels in branding, digital design, presentation design, and motion graphics
Create thoughtful, narrative-driven visual experiences — with a strong grasp of hierarchy, flow, familiarity with basic Ux/UI principles and storytelling across formats like product launches, research decks, experiential activations and campaigns
Balance creativity with performance by applying a strategic lens to everything from display ads to video content
Contribute fresh ideas and challenge the status quo by bringing curiosity, strategic thinking, and intuition to how the Nexxen brand is experienced and perceived across every touchpoint
Work iteratively, adapting quickly and collaborating with agility across cross-functional teams
What Will I Bring?
3–5 years of relevant experience in brand design, ideally – but not required – in a B2B SaaS environment or agency supporting technology-focused brands
Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Premiere Pro), plus familiar with AI tools
Proficient in designing motion graphics for video content, including animations to supplement talking head long-form video, short-form explainers, sizzles, and social-first video assets
Visualization and presentation skills to convey ideas clearly through storyboards, mood boards, wireframes, mockups, etc., during the creative development process
Ability to design PowerPoint presentations and research reports that are both brand-consistent and visually engaging
Experience creating compelling display ad creatives, with an understanding of digital ad spaces and performance best practices
Experience creating HTML emails using modular design system of CRM/Marketing platforms, with a mobile first strong understanding of layout, and formatting
Comfortable working with WordPress/Elementor and solid understanding of basic UX/UI design principles
Excellent time management and organizational skills—able to juggle multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and adhere to processes
Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable receiving feedback and working cross-functionally with the Digital, Research, and Operations team
Dedication to staying up to date on emerging design trends, tools, and technologies to keep our assets fresh, while still following brand guidelines
Positive, solutions-focused disposition to proactively resolve challenges and mitigate risks to project plans
Ad tech industry experience is not required, but an intellectual curiosity to learn more about the industry is preferred
