Role Description:
This role serves as the operational engine of the Communications Team. This role is responsible for overseeing projects from concept through review, delivery, and post-launch evaluation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee communication projects from the initiating phase through review, delivery, and the closing phase.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for large-scale, church wide campaigns and communication projects.
- Schedule and lead all project-related meetings for the Communications Team.
- Work within the project management system to keep all projects organized and built out.
- Advocate for the Communications Team by protecting the team's margin and capacity by establishing scope and realistic timelines before work begins.
- Advocate for the ministry and campus project's stakeholders to help the Communications Team meet the goals set by the stakeholders for each project.
- Verify all assets meet brand voice standards and uphold the vision of NewSpring Church, and have passed through any proofing and approvals necessary prior to delivery.
- Track desired outcomes set for each project to evaluate and report on the success of the project.
- Work alongside other project managers to see all projects and campaigns to completion.
- Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
Role Requirements:
- This role is full time 40 hours per week.
- A communications degree and experience in project management is preferred.
- This role adheres to a standard schedule, knowing it may fluctuate at times & based on certain needs. Standard schedule is:
- Sunday: 8:15am to 1pm (remaining hours - equal to 40 hours total - offsite)
- Monday: 9am to 5pm
- Tuesday: 9am to 5pm
- Wednesday: 9am to 5pm
- Thursday: 9am to 5pm
