Who this fits
This suits a commercially curious, analytical eCommerce professional who can work across Sales, Marketing, Shopper Activation and Category teams. You'll be based in Welwyn Garden City on a hybrid pattern with two to three office days each week. It's a full-time, twelve-month temporary role, with flexible working needs open for discussion.

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded eCommerce Development Manager to join Cereal Partners UK (CPUK) on a temporary basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in accelerating eCommerce growth across some of the UK's biggest grocery retailers, including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Amazon and Ocado. As part of the Digital Commerce Team, you'll help shape and execute our eCommerce plans, driving online sales performance, increasing category growth and enhancing the customer journey through best-in-class digital execution.
Working across Sales, Marketing, Shopper Activation and Category teams, you'll bring together data, insights and commercial thinking to identify opportunities, optimise digital shelf performance and deliver sustainable growth across our online channels.
Your Impact
eCommerce Growth & Activation: Lead the activation and execution of the UK eCommerce strategy, partnering with Sales teams to deliver customer-specific plans that grow online sales and market share.
Digital Shelf Excellence: Drive improvements in Digital Shelf Scores through content optimisation, eContent execution and best-practice implementation across key retailer platforms.
Data & Performance Insights: Translate shopper, consumer and channel data into actionable recommendations, creating reporting frameworks and dashboards that support commercial decision-making and continuous optimisation.
Retailer & Partner Collaboration: Build strong relationships with eRetailer contacts, retailer media networks and agency partners to maximise visibility, activation effectiveness and category growth opportunities.
Budget & Agency Management: Manage always-on eCommerce budgets and support the operational management of agency partners, ensuring effective execution and compliance with Nestlé standards.
Capability Building: Act as an eCommerce champion across CPUK, sharing best practice, upskilling colleagues and building broader understanding of the changing digital commerce landscape.
Your Ingredients for Success
We're looking for someone who combines commercial curiosity, strong analytical thinking and a passion for digital commerce.
Essential
Commercial Experience: Experience within eCommerce, Sales, Marketing, Category, Customer Development or a related commercial function.
Data & Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into practical actions that drive growth and optimisation.
eCommerce Experience: Hands-on experience working within eCommerce, digital marketing platforms, online retailers or marketplaces.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to build effective working relationships across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
Project Management: Experience coordinating projects, managing priorities and delivering results against tight deadlines.
Commercial Acumen: Understanding of shopper behaviour, online retail fundamentals and commercial decision-making.
Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.
Continuous Improvement Mindset: Resilient, organised and proactive, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and identify opportunities to improve performance.
Desirable
Agency Management: Experience managing agencies or external partners.
Retailer Experience: Exposure to grocery retail customers, retailer media networks or customer-facing commercial roles.
Digital Content Optimisation: Knowledge of eContent, digital shelf optimisation and online conversion drivers.
