Software Implementation Consultant
POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Deliver workshops and requirements gathering sessions
- Works with Business partners to identify, gather, prioritize and incorporate business requirements into the solution
- Develop code based on the specifications provided
- Maintain compliance with project specific standards, processes and tools for Requirements Definition and Management
- Proactively communicate with design and developer work efforts to ensure understanding and adherence with customer requirements
- Analyze current system functionality to determine new system requirements against defined business requirements
- Assist development team in design sessions.
- Provide subject matter expertise throughout the development life cycle (design, coding, testing, implementation and customer acceptance)
- Maintain, administer and support tools used in deploying the solution
- Participate in code development by actively writing code and conducting unit testing
- Supporting the QA processes
- Implement Interactive Services solutions at customer sites
- Deliver training sessions to customers
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s and/ or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge and experience in one (or more) of the following: ASP.NET, C#, Java, HTML, XML, Web Services.
- Ability to work from rudimentary requirements and specifications.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL programming, preferably Ms SQL Server.
- Ability to prioritize assignments, handles shifting deadlines, and work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with an understanding of existing and emerging technologies.
- Ability to prioritize workload and work well under pressure to meet deadlines and manage business expectations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-directed and keen on learning.
- Ability to travel within the Middle East and Gulf region as required is a must.
- A good command of the English language (oral and written) is a must.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Experience building or integrating WebServices applications
- Familiar with major OSs, SSH.
- Linux OS fundamentals
