Programme Eligibility

To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. You’re currently an undergraduate studying at university and returning to full-time education in Autumn 2028 and returning to full time education in Autumn 2028
  2. You’re looking to gain work experience after completing your A-Levels, an equivalent course or an Apprenticeship

Additionally, you must also:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 5th July 2027 – Friday 21st July 2028
  • Be able to work in NBCUniversal's Central London office on-site four days per week

What will I be doing?

The Hayu, International Networks & DTC PR team is responsible for the promotion of our brands and content across EMEA (Networks) and the footprint of reality SVOD service Hayu (45 territories.) Key tasks include:

  • Asset Management: sourcing/cataloguing assets for key programming and sharing materials with local teams and PR contacts
  • Managing Press Materials: compiling press kits, develop publicity ideas, drafting press releases
  • Supporting Talent Access: assisting with organisation of talent interviews and press events
  • PR Coverage: archiving and sharing of all press coverage, preparing coverage reports as needed
  • Internal Comms: Supporting on newsletters and other internal comms initiatives

What will I learn from this opportunity?

As a member of the PR & Comms team, you will:

  • Develop a solid understanding of how the function operates, supporting a broad range of content and brands across multiple countries
  • Gain foundational skills for a career in publicity/comms, from creating press materials and fulfilling talent requests, to monitoring and evaluating media coverage/campaigns
  • Learn how to support a PR/Comms team with everything from administration and budgets to talent and event logistics
