Job Details:

The (REMOTE) Senior Copywriter is responsible for crafting compelling, on-brand copy that contributes to breakthrough, attention-grabbing advertising and promotions. In this role, you'll collaborate with designers, a cross-functional marketing team, and the Copy Director to bring strategic initiatives and brand concepts to life. This involves generating fresh ideas that support the brand strategy, leading collaborative brainstorms, and translating complex challenges into simple creative solutions, all while injecting a consistent voice and personality across a wide range of channels, including web, paid and organic social, email, video, and more.  

 

NOTE: All applicants must provide a portfolio featuring marketing and/or advertising work and copywriting samples for consideration.  

 

Essential Responsibilities 

  • Be a strategically creative leader: From simple projects to big-idea concepts, contribute exceptional thoughts and engaging ways to bring them to life 

  • Be a master of short and long-form copywriting: This ranges from informative, punchy product descriptions and headlines to naming sales and generating thumb-stopping email and social content 

  • Write and edit accurate, concise copy that is engaging to read, easy to understand and compels customers to action 

  • Review and proofread content and recommend improvements (content clarity, brevity, calls to action and streamlined online navigation) 

  • Adhere to brand voice and develop and execute brand on all channels 

  • Work with the design and marketing team to address challenges in displaying and integrating content within the look and feel of digital and print marketing 

  • Exhibit expert knowledge on the many brands and products found in-store and on our site 

  • Ask the necessary, insightful questions to make sure that projects are succinct and executed properly the first time 

  • Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date 

  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts and persuasively present work to leadership team 

  • Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation 

  • Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and Company operations

Education 

  • High School diploma or equivalent required 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, Strategic Communication, English or related major preferred 

 

Professional Experience 

  • 3+ Years experience of copywriting across all media required 

  • Video and social writing experience preferred

Compensation:

Competitive pay range of $85,000 - $90,000 * depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.

*Pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular time.
