As our Internal Communications & Social Impact Specialist, you'll play a critical role in bringing our purpose to life, helping to engage and inspire our Associates across Australia and New Zealand through meaningful communications, culture initiatives and community impact programs.
What will you do?
Reporting to the Corporate Affairs Director, you'll lead the delivery of internal communications and engagement initiatives across Mars Snacking ANZ. You'll work closely with local senior leaders to craft compelling communications and drive programs that strengthen culture, engagement and purpose.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering internal communications that support business priorities, transformation programs and culture initiatives.
- Advising leaders on clear, engaging and effective communication approaches.
- Creating high-impact content across multiple channels including town halls, newsletters, intranet, video and social platforms.
- Partnering with our manufacturing and commercial teams to connect Associates with the business strategy and purpose.
- Leading communication and activation of signature Mars programs, including volunteering, community engagement and social impact initiatives.
- Managing community partnerships, sponsorship requests, volunteering activities and reporting on program outcomes.
- Measuring communication effectiveness and continuously improving engagement outcomes.
What you’ll bring:
- A degree in Communications, Journalism or a related discipline.
- Approx 3-5+ years' experience in internal communications, employee engagement or corporate communications within a large organisation.
- Experience supporting change communications and working with senior leaders.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience delivering Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), community or social impact programs.
- The ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities.
