From the employer
About the Client Our client is a global gaming company with a diverse portfolio of mobile and PC titles, reaching millions of players every day across the world. Among their standout titles is a wildly popular life-simulation game with an active, vocal community spread across Reddit, X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Discord. As the community continues to grow, the team needs a dedicated voice to keep the conversation alive, healthy, and connected back into the business.
Why does this role exist? This role exists because the game's community lives across six different platforms, each with its own tone, culture, and expectations, and someone needs to own that day-to-day presence authentically and consistently. Beyond engagement, this role is the connective tissue between players and the internal teams who need to hear from them — routing feedback to customer service, surfacing bugs and sentiment from the Discord beta community to QA and Engineering, and flagging trends and cultural moments to the content team. Ultimately, this hire exists to make sure the player community feels heard, well-moderated, and reflected back into the business in real time. Community Engagement & Moderation
