** This is a temporary position through approximately the end of July 2027, based on business needs. **

 

Core Responsibilities  

  • Maximize the commercial performance of LEGO.com within the Mexico market, by using data to spot trends and opportunities to optimize the site through existing business tools 

  • Work with Regional Merchandising teams to optimize the product portfolio and stock positions in order to drive weekly sales results and optimize item order limits 

  • Explore global vs local trends to make recommendations on how to leverage localized content and experiences 

  • Optimize internal site search on a global, language and country level, ensuring shoppers are finding the right products for them regardless of language and location 

  • Develop deep expertise on our eCommerce tools, supporting documentation efforts to improve overall ECommerce team capabilities  

  • Working with Product Management and our technical IT team, define requirements for business tool to support on-site optimization and define requirements for relevant local shopper requirements (e.g. payment options) 

  • Support the development of the personalization strategy to balance global segment personalization and local commercial opportunities 

  • Input into the sales forecast, supporting the delivery of the targets through a clearly defined on-site action plan by region and by country 

  • Coordinate with Marketing teams to assess effectiveness of promotions and plan for future promotions and optimize markdown 

  • Work with Fraud team to optimize cancellation rates and chargebacks 

  • Coordinate with Distribution and Consumer Services teams to track and improve Shopper NPS and eCommerce profitability  

  • Drive projects with Distribution to improve shopper experience and improve profitability 

  • Work with Consumer Services team to understand shopper feedback and take actions to drive commercial traction

As a part of the LEGO Retail organization, the Global eCommerce team drives the development of lego.com and digital shopper channels across regions, including new market entry, and plays a pivotal role in the LEGO Group commercial strategy.  

 

One of the biggest changes we are making is moving from a brand eCommerce platform to a retail website.  This means making a mindset shift from passively driving sales to proactively managing on-site sales performance. 

 

The role will play a pivotal role in defining the change to be commercially led, with the objective to realize the on-site sales opportunities by delivering the best possible experience for each and every visitor.   

 

Working alongside eCommerce, Marketing and the wider LEGO Group, this role will define and deliver plans to use our existing business tools to optimize the site down to a country level, becoming an expert in regional and language differences.   

 

Do you have what it takes? 

  • Proven experience working in eCommerce with strong experience working with on-site optimization tools including analytics, testing, content management and internal search 

  • Well-versed in merchandising and sales with consumer products 

  • Native level fluency in English & Spanish written and spoken 

  • Strong track record of delivering eCommerce sales uplift  

  • Passion for developing a deep understanding of shopper needs throughout the online journey and how this differs by language and country 

  • Ability to define requirements to drive technical changes via the backlog management process 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to and engaging stakeholders at all levels 

  • An enthusiastic, positive approach and determination to overcome obstacles; results orientation with a focus on quality, efficiency and operational excellence   

  • Open, collaborative communication style, with experience working across cultures and time zones to build connected, sustainable relationships regardless of organizational structure 

  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally up to 20% 

 

Nice to Have: 

  •  Knowledge of software options in the market and resulting benefits  

  • Experience in multiple regions or global markets a plus  

  • High level technical knowledge of eCommerce platforms 

  • BA or equivalent in Marketing, Business Development or related field preferred

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $107,885.00 - $161,827.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
