Irth is seeking a Product Marketing Manager (PMM), Damage Prevention to own product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our Damage Prevention product suite. This role requires deep domain expertise in 811 / One Call operations and a strong ability to translate complex workflows, regulations, and customer pain points into compelling narratives that drive adoption, pipeline, and customer value.
Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, this role will act as the strategic connective tissue between Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. Ensuring Irth’s Damage Prevention solutions are clearly differentiated, competitively positioned, and aligned to buyer needs across utilities, operators, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Product Positioning & Messaging
- Own end-to-end positioning and messaging for Irth’s Damage Prevention portfolio, including Utilisphere, Exactix, and 811spotter
- Translate 811 regulations, workflows, and compliance requirements into clear customer-centric value propositions
- Identify and document personas, use cases, and buyer journeys for utilities, operators, and contractor audiences
- Maintain competitive intelligence on 811 software, risk modeling, and damage prevention ecosystems
- Partner with Product and Sales on pricing and packaging strategy
Go-to-Market Leadership
- Lead GTM planning for product launches, enhancements, and integrations within the Damage Prevention portfolio
- Partner with event coordinators, sales leaders, product managers, and customer champions to define the Damage Prevention event strategy, positioning, and messaging for all industry events, including CGA, regional One Call events, and customer forums
- Partner with Product Management to influence roadmap priorities based on market insights and customer feedback
Sales & Revenue Enablement
- Create high-impact sales enablement materials: pitch decks, battlecards, solution briefs, case studies, ROI frameworks, and demos
- Support strategic deals, executive briefings, and customer presentations when needed
- Influence sales pipeline, win rates, or deal velocity
Customer & Market Insight
- Act as the voice of the customer for Damage Prevention, grounding messaging in real operational challenges
- Engage directly with customers, prospects, and industry partners to gather insights
- Partner with Customer Success to support adoption, expansion, and retention initiatives
Content & Thought Leadership
- Collaborate with Creative Delivery & Support team to develop and execute campaigns via webinars, case studies, social media, and industry thought leadership
- Support Irth’s presence at industry events (CGA, regional One Call events, utility conferences) by managing speaking opportunities for themselves, staff, and/or clients
- Help shape Irth’s broader narrative around AI-driven damage prevention, risk modeling, and compliance automation
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, professional communications, or related industry-facing roles supporting utilities, operators, or critical infrastructure organizations
- Strong domain expertise in 811 / One Call operations, including experience working with utilities, operators, contractors, and/or One Call Centers
- Working knowledge of CGA best practices, PHMSA regulations, and state-level 811 requirements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex operational and regulatory topics into clear, compelling narratives
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams
- Willingness and ability to travel up to ~20% to support customer events, sales efforts, and industry engagement
- Comfort operating in a high-growth, private-equity-backed environment, with evolving priorities and multiple stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Irth products, including Utilisphere, Exactix, and/or 811spotter
- Experience marketing software solutions for damage prevention, asset integrity, infrastructure risk, or compliance in a B2B SaaS environment
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms, social media scheduling tools, and modern B2B marketing systems (e.g., HubSpot), enabling effective collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams
- Experience supporting acquisitions, brand integrations, or multi-product SaaS portfolios

Compensation
The salary range for this role is USD $110K– $130K. This range reflects the base salary only and does not include any other compensation components. Any offers made are dependent on factors including and not limited to experience, skills, and location.
