Hillel International is seeking a dynamic marketing and fundraising professional to serve as a project-based Campus Marketing and Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join an in-house consulting agency that provides expert digital and direct fundraising and marketing services to about 60 Hillel campus clients nationwide. This temporary position on our growing team will let you make an immediate impact on the lives of thousands of Jewish college students over a 6-month contract.
The Campus Marketing and Development Manager will support the grassroots fundraising and marketing efforts of a portfolio of campus Hillels. Top candidates will have a strong background in digital marketing and/or fundraising, with an emphasis on excellent writing, strong graphic design skills, and developing impactful campaigns using data-driven strategies to achieve positive results.

What You’ll Do
- Create, write, design, and distribute digital and direct response fundraising campaigns across platforms (email, direct mail, texting, social media, and web).
- Develop annual fundraising and marketing campaign calendars incorporating stewardship touchpoints, appeals, renewal messaging, and email newsletters.
- Optimize campaigns at an advanced level using data-driven strategies, including A/B testing, personalization, audience targeting, and nonprofit industry trends.
- Provide in-depth analysis of campaign performance to meet or exceed goals, use CRMs for audience segmentation, and provide web support related to fundraising.
- Lead audience acquisition efforts (parents, alumni, donors) and lead key initiatives such as Giving Days and text campaigns.
- Serve as a strategic partner to campus staff to ensure brand cohesion, powerful storytelling, and top-notch client service.
- Successfully manage multiple timelines and concurrent projects across campus clients.
What You’ll Bring to the Job
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, digital advertising, and/or fundraising within the non-profit space (deep understanding of Hillel is a plus).
- Proven success planning and executing digital and multichannel campaigns.
- Excellent written communication skills for crafting compelling fundraising messaging, paired with exceptional graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
- Mastery of data analysis and audience segmentation, along with experience using CRMs/databases and email marketing platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.).
- Superior organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and a client-service mindset to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

What You’ll Receive
- Competitive salary in the nonprofit marketplace. The salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000 per year, prorated for the 6-month period of employment.
