Who this fits

This freelance role suits a copywriter who can shift Clue's voice across channels and adjust to changing priorities. It is remote for people in the UK or EU timezone, at three to four days per week.

From the employer

Clue is more than just a place to work. Our work empowers women and people with cycles to make informed decisions about their health. We break down barriers, myths, and taboos. Our workplace is agile, diverse, and full of opportunities for growth.

The role

We’re bringing a refreshed Clue brand to life – bolder, more meaningful, showing Clue’s life changing impact – and copy is doing a huge part of that work. We’re looking for a copywriter who’s excited to carry that voice into our always-on channels: the touchpoints that reach millions of people to inspire them to understand their bodies and have agency over their health.

You’ll work closely with our marketing, growth, and design teams to turn briefs into copy that’s unmistakably Clue, and leans into our brand pillars: body literacy, agency and health equity.

What you’ll do

  • CRM campaigns – Write compelling emails, push notifications, and in-app messages for sales moments, feature launches, and retention sends.
  • UA ad copy – Develop and refresh static and video ad copy for Meta and Google Ads campaigns across multiple audience sets, iterating against performance feedback.
  • App Store optimisation – Write and update app store copy, in-app events, and screenshot copy, working with the growth team to test what drives visibility and conversion.
  • LinkedIn content – Draft posts according to the content plan, adapting Clue’s voice for a more professional, insight-led audience.
  • Partnership materials – Write and review partner landing pages and other materials that support our commercial and partnerships teams.
  • Line-edit our science articles for grammar, formatting, and structural guidelines before submitting to the Science Team for review. Ensure all references, data, and inline citations match our internal guidelines.

Who you are

  • 3–5 years’ copywriting experience within a brand or marketing team
  • You care about brand – you notice when something doesn’t quite sound like Clue, and that matters to you
  • You’re confident adapting copy across CRM, paid, ASO, web and social
  • You bring fresh, creative angles to work – a new subject line hook, a better ad variant, a different way into a familiar CRM moment
  • You can take a brief and run with it, collaborating with channel leads and stakeholders
  • You’re agile and can adapt to shifting priorities
  • Bonus: experience in health and wellness or another regulated category
  • Bonus: familiarity with Figma and AirTable

GOOD TO KNOW

  • Location: Remote, UK/EU timezone
  • 3-4 days per week
